모발상의 향기 보존을 향상시키기 위한 폴리실록산 일광차단제의 용도{USE OF A POLYSILOXANE SUNSCREEN TO ENHANCE FRAGANCE RETENTION ON HAIR}
본 발명은, 헤어스프레이 조성물로 처리된 모발의 향기 보존 개선에 관한 것이다.
향수는 헤어스프레이의 통상적인 구성성분이다. 본 발명에 따라, 폴리실록산 일광차단제가 헤어스프레이에 함유된 향기의 모발상의 보존을 개선시킴이 밝혀졌다.
따라서, 본 발명은 헤어스프레이 조성물의 향기 고정제로서의 폴리실록산 일광차단제의 용도에 관한 것이다. 폴리실록산 일광차단제는, 예를 들어 EP 392,882 호, EP 358,584 호, EP 538,431 호 및 EP 709,080 호에 개시된 바와 같은 임의의 통상적인 폴리실록산 일광차단제일 수 있다. 이러한 폴리실록산의 예로는 하기 화학식 Ia 및 화학식 Ib의 화합물을 들 수 있다:

Y가 화학식 a 또는 화학식 b의 화합물인 화학식 Ia 및 화학식 Ib의 화합물, 및 이의 제조방법은, 예를 들어 EP 538,431 호 및 EP 679,645 호에 기술되어 있다. Y가 화학식 c의 기인 화학식 Ia 또는 화학식 Ib의 화합물은, 예를 들어 EP 354,145 호, EP 388,218 호, EP 392,883 호 및 국제특허 공개공보 제 WO 94/06,404 호에 기술되어 있다.
s가 3 내지 10의 평균수이고 r이 20 내지 80의 평균수인 화학식 Ia의 화합물의 폴리실록산 일광차단제가 바람직하다. s가 약 4이고 r이 약 60인 화학식 Ia의 화합물, 및 예를 들어 EP 709,080 호에서 "폴리실록산 A"로서 개시된 바와 같이 Y 기의 약 80%가 알킬리덴 구조(화학식 a)이고 약 20%가 알킬렌 구조(화학식 b)인, 화학식 Ia의 화합물의 폴리실록산 일광차단제가 가장 바람직하다.
본 발명의 목적을 위해서는, 하기 화학식 1의 폴리실록산 일광차단제가 특히 바람직하다:
상기 식에서,
s는 약 4이고;
r은 약 60이다.
이 화합물은 약 20%의 알킬렌 이성질체(상기 화학식 b)를 함유하고, 이후부터 파르솔(PARSOL)(등록상표) SLX로서 지칭된다. 이 폴리실록산 일광차단제 파르솔(등록상표) SLX의 제조방법은 EP 709 080 호에 보다 상세히 기술되어 있으며, 이 문헌에서는 "폴리실록산 A"로서 지칭되고 있다.
본 발명에 따른 용도의 헤어스프레이 중의 폴리실록산 일광차단제의 양은 약 0.01 내지 약 10중량%, 바람직하게는 약 0.1 내지 약 5중량%이다.
향수는 헤어스프레이 조성물에서 통상적으로 사용되는 필수 오일을 포함하는 천연 또는 합성 향수 또는 이의 혼합물일 수 있으며, 헤어스프레이 조성물 중에서 예를 들어 0.001 내지 50중량%, 특히 약 0.01 내지 약 10중량%, 바람직하게는 약 0.1 내지 약 5중량%의 양으로 존재할 수 있다.
헤어스프레이 조성물은 기계적으로 분무되는 비-에어로졸 스프레이 로션, 또는 추진제와 함께 분무되는 에어로졸일 수 있다. 또한, 헤어스프레이 조성물은 향수 및 폴리실록산 일광차단제 향기 고정제 이외에도, 헤어스프레이 조성물에 통상적으로 사용되는 추가의 성분, 예를 들어 비타민(예를 들어, 비오틴, 비타민 E 또는 피탄트리올); 추진제(예를 들어, DME, F 152, 프로판, 부탄 또는 펜탄); 통상적인 화장품용 용매(예를 들어, 에탄올 및 물); 스타일링 중합체; 헤어 관리용 실리콘(예를 들어, 디메티콘, 페닐트리메티콘 또는 실리콘 유화액); 중화제(예를 들어, AMP); 방부제; 및 EP 979 645 호에 기술된 소수의 물질의 추가의 UV-A 및 UV-B 흡수제(예를 들어, 디벤조일메탄, 신나메이트, 장뇌 또는 페닐벤즈이미다졸 유도체)를 함유할 수 있다.
하기 실시예를 통해 본 발명을 보다 상세히 설명한다.
추진제로서 (A)의 용액을 (B)와 함께 에어로졸 캔에 충전시켰다.

실시예 5: 파르솔(등록상표) SLX에 의한 향기 고정의 패널 지각 평가
시판중인 표백된 금발 모발의 생머리 견본(10cm 길이)을 사용하였다. 사용하기 전 시판중인 샴푸로 모발을 미리 세척하였다. 각각의 모발을 50㎖의 유리 실린더 중의 상기 스프레이 20.0g에 침지시켰다. 실린더를 1분 동안 흔들었다. 모발을 꺼내어 2분 동안 방치한 후, 모발의 뿌리에서 끝까지 아래를 향해 빗질하여 과량의 용액을 제거하고, 15분 동안 주변 조건에서 건조시켰다. 이어서, 모발의 향기 평가를 수행하였다.
하기 스프레이 포뮬라를 시험하였다:
10명으로 구성된 패널이 향기 강도에 대하여 각각 2개의 모발을 비교하였다(플라시보 모발 및 시험 모발). 지각된 강도를, 지각할 수 없는 정도의 향의 0cm부터 강한 향의 말단 10cm까지의 수평선에 점을 찍어 위치를 표시하였다. 이어서, 표시된 위치를 0 내지 10까지의 숫자로 읽었다. P=95%의 불확실성을 갖는 지각된 강도의 각각의 등급 및 평균치를 하기 표 1 및 표 2에 기재한다.
상기 표 1에 기재된 바와 같이, 1% 파르솔(등록상표) SLX로 처리된 모발(포뮬라 2 모발)은 플라시보(포뮬라 1) 모발과 비교하여 지각된 향기 강도가 훨씬 높은 것으로 평가되었다. 또한, 10명 중 7명이 파르솔(등록상표) SLX로 처리된 모발이 강한 향기를 나타내었다고 보고하였다. 평균적으로, 파르솔(등록상표) SLX로 처리된 모발의 향기 강도의 등급은 플라시보 등급보다 2.4배 높았다.
상기 표 2에 기재된 바와 같이, 1% 파르솔(등록상표) SLX로 처리된 모발(포뮬라 2 모발)은 플라시보(포뮬라 1) 모발과 비교하여 지각된 향기 강도가 훨씬 높은 것으로 평가되었다. 또한, 10명 중 9명이 파르솔(등록상표) SLX로 처리된 모발이 강한 향기를 나타내었다고 보고하였다. 평균적으로, 파르솔(등록상표) SLX로 처리된 모발의 향기 강도의 등급은 플라시보 등급보다 1.3배 높았다.
