통상 연안용 에프알피제 소형선박의 경우 전복이나 좌초등의 해난사고시 선체가 침몰하는 경우 인명구조장비외에 선체구조상 부분적으로 횡이나 종격벽구조로 설계되지 않아 좌초등에 대비한 방안이 미미한 실정인데, 본 고안은 중대형선박과 같이 선체내부를 횡종격벽을 마련하는 선체구조를 지향하는 것보다는 소형선박의 엔진기관실좌우의 종격격벽과 선수부공간, 선체좌우현횡격벽과 선저외판과 갑판상에 일측공간에 경질우레탄주입공(100c)이 형성된 늑골판(200a;200b)으로 구성한 몰드폼(mold foam)에 경질우레탄을 주입충진하여 보이드스페이스(100)를 완성제공하는 것과 같이,시공이 간편하면서도 선체의 갑판횡재및 선저횡재나 횡격벽의 역활을 하면서도, 내부공간을 활용해 자체 부양력이 우수하도록한 소형선박용보이드스페이스구조에 관한 것이다.
