Abstract

PURPOSE: Fuel pump-mounting structure for reducing a working noise of a fuel pump is provided to reduce efflux of the working noise by making the working noise discharged at a predetermined angle inclined to the bottom surface of the fuel pump and installing a screen filter under the fuel pump. CONSTITUTION: A bracket(10) for mounting of a fuel pump(11) is combined to an upper plate(2) of a fuel tank(1). The end(10a) of the bracket is inclined at a predetermined angle. The fuel pump is mounted to the end of the bracket and thus a working noise discharged from the fuel pump is reflected to the bottom surface of the fuel tank while maintaining a predetermined angle toward the bottom surface. An inlet(12) of the fuel pump is formed to the bottom of the fuel pump. A screen filter(13) is connected to the inlet and thus the working noise discharged from the fuel pump is reduced primarily while colliding with the screen filter.
