본 발명은 패각을 이용한 진주 분말의 제조 방법 및 그 이용에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a method for producing pearl powder using a shell and its use.
진주는 수산 생물인 조개류로부터 얻어지는 유기물질로 이루어진 보석으로서 그 발생원리는 패각을 만드는 외투막 상피 세포가 우연히, 또는 인위적으로 체내에 함입되어 체내에서 껍질을 만드는 성분이 결정되어 성장한 것이 진주가 된다. 그러나, 패각과 다른점은 체내에는 직접 물에 닿지 않기 때문에 각질층과 능주질층이 없는 진주질층으로만 이루어져 있다. 이 진주는 보석으로서의 가치도 있지만 한방에서는 약용으로 사용되어져 왔다. 동의보감, 본초강목 등에 의하면 진주는 정신을 안정시키고 경련을 멈추며 담을 삭히고 간열을 없애며 눈을 맑게 한다. 또한, 새살을 돋게 하고 헌데를 잘 아물게 한다. 어린이 경풍,전간, 심계, 장 장애, 소갈병, 귀머거리, 간열로 인한 안병(눈병), 예막, 부스럼 등에 효능이 있음을 밝히고 있으며, 용법으로는 가루약, 환약으로 복용하고 외용으로는 가루내어 뿌리거나 눈에 넣거나 달임약으로 사용되어져 왔다.Pearl is a jewel made of organic material obtained from shellfish, aquatic organisms.
