Abstract

PURPOSE: A soil core material sampler is provided to collect soil sample containing natural soil stratum and volume and to easily release the collected soil by constructing the sampler which has outer and inner cylinders, holes in both cylinders, a rod for taking up the cylinders and plastic sample storage can. CONSTITUTION: The sampler comprises an outer cylinder(1) having a scale mark; two inner cylinders(2,3) to easily release a soil core sample out of the inner cylinders; a cover(4) safely seated on the outer cylinder(1) and having a hammer for directly driving the sampler into deeper stratum of the soil to collect the soil core sample; a cylinder withdrawal rod(5) capable being inserted into holes of both cylinders(1,2,3) to pull out the cylinders(1,2,3) together with the soil sample from the soil stratum; and a plastic sample storage can to keep the collected sample inside.

현재 국내에서는 대부분 국외에서 개발된 이중 실린더형 토양 코어 시료 채취기(double-cylinder hammer-driven soil core sampler)를 그대로 수입하여 사용하고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 국외에서 개발된 이 도구는 비교적 평지의 경작지를 대상으로 우리나라에 비하여 월등히 좋은 사용자의 체격조건을 전제로 한 것이어서 실제 사용상 많은 문제점을 노출하고 있다.At present, most domestically imported double-cylinder hammer-driven soil core samplers are used.
