Abstract

PURPOSE: A cable for a motor vehicle is provided to achieve improved durability by preventing moisture from entering the tube and enhancing corrosion resistance of the connecting portion between the wire and fixing member. CONSTITUTION: A cable for a motor vehicle, comprises a plastic tube(1); a fixing bush(2) arranged at both ends of the plastic tube; a wire(3) accommodated into the plastic tube and the fixing bush in such a manner that the wire is slidable, wherein the wire has both ends exposed from the fixing bush; a fixing member(4) fixed at both ends of the wire; and a cover(10) having both ends fixed to the fixing bush and the fixing member, and which is made of a flexible material and covers an exposed portion(3') of the wire. Grooves(11) are formed at the inner surfaces of both ends of the cover, such that convex-concave portions(12) formed at the fixing bush and the fixing member are inserted into the grooves.
