In the case of using the above-mentioned heat-shrinkable tube, when a force is applied to the connector, the heat-shrinkable tube 4 and the connector 2 easily come off as shown in FIG. May not be possible. This is because the heat-shrinkable tube 4 is made of a connector material (PBT polybutyl terephthalate), so that the heat-shrinkable tube 4 is not sufficiently adhered to the connector 2 due to contamination by a release agent or the like attached to the surface of the connector. That's why. In addition, there is a problem that the cost increases if the cleaning is performed to remove the dirt on the surface of the connector 2.

Specifically, the protective tube externally fitted to the electric wire is a corrugated tube, and one side of the heat-shrinkable tube filled with the sealing material is externally fitted to the distal end side of the corrugated tube. The valley is filled with a sealing material, and the gap between the tip of the corrugated tube and the tip of the connector housing is at least 10 mm.
With a dimension of 20 mm to 20 mm, this portion is filled with the sealing material between the wires, and the heat-shrinkable tube is brought into close contact with the outer periphery of the wire group.

[0010] As described above, when a space is provided between the connector (corrugated tube or the like) and the connector, which are provided outside the wire group, and the required space is provided, the sealing material applied to the inner surface of the heat-shrinkable tube is heated at this portion. When heated to shrink the shrink tubing, the sealing material melts and fills between the wires, and is fixed to the wires. The sealing material and the heat-shrinkable tube are firmly fixed inseparably. Therefore, the connector connected to the end of the wire group also has the terminal connected to the wire end locked inside the connector, and the wire group and the connector are integrated, so the heat-shrinkable tube is tightly fixed to the wire group. This prevents the heat-shrinkable tube from coming off the outer peripheral surface of the connector. Further, since the heat-shrinkable tube itself is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the connector via the sealing material, even if an external force acts on the connector, it does not come off from the outer peripheral surface of the connector.

As described above, the heat-shrinkable tube 20 is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the corrugated tube 10 and the connector housing 2a.
Is heated in a state where it is externally fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the wire group, and is externally fitted to the wire group at an intermediate portion thereof. By this heating, the sealing material 21 is melted and filled in the valleys 10b of the corrugated tube 10 on the corrugated tube 10 side. In addition, the electric wire group is exposed between the corrugated tube 10 and the connector 2, and the electric wire group is filled with teeth, and the seal material 21 is filled between the electric wire group. On the connector housing 2a side, a sealing material is filled from the wire connection side end surface to the outer peripheral surface to fix the wire group. Further, the heat-shrinkable tube 20 itself shrinks and is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the corrugated tube 10, the outer peripheral surface of the wire group w, and the outer peripheral surface of the connector housing in a state of being in close contact therewith.

The specific procedure is as follows. First, the wire group W is covered with the corrugated tube 10,
0, and thereafter, the terminal 5 at the end of each wire of the wire group W is inserted and locked into the connector 2, and the connector 2 is attached to the end of the wire group.
Connect. Then, connect the heat-shrinkable tube 20 to the connector 2.
The positioning is adjusted so as to cover the outer peripheral surface on the wire connection side of the connector housing in a boot shape. Finally, heating is performed at a required temperature to shrink the heat-shrinkable tube 20 and melt the sealing material 21 so that the valley 10b of the corrugated tube 10, the gap between the wires, the gap at the wire connection side end face of the connector housing, and the outer peripheral surface 1 and 2 by melting and fixing.

In the case of the above configuration, the sealing material 21 has good familiarity with the electric wire w and the corrugated tube 10, and can be securely fixed. As described above, since the sealing member 21 fixed to the heat-shrinkable tube 20 is fixed to the electric wire w, the electric wire w between the corrugated tube 10 and the connector 2 can be reliably protected by the heat-shrinkable tube 20.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment. For example, a cylindrical resin tube or a resin sheet may be used instead of the corrugated tube as the sheathing material of the electric wire group, and a tape winding may be used. What is necessary is just to cover a heat-shrinkable tube on the front end side of a material. Further, the connector may be one in which a clamp for locking the body panel projects from the outer peripheral surface of the connector housing.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, a required dimension is provided by separating a wire sheathing material such as a corrugated tube and a connector connected to a wire terminal. Since the heat-shrinkable tube coated with the sealant is covered, the sealant fills and adheres between the wires, and the heat-shrinkable tube itself adheres to the outer periphery of the wire group,
The electric wire group and the heat-shrinkable tube can be fixed, and the electric wire can be reliably protected, and the connector connected to the electric wire can be prevented from coming off from the heat-shrinkable tube.

As described above, one end of the heat-shrinkable tube is put on the outer peripheral surface of the connector housing of the connector on the electric wire connection side in a boot shape, and the other end is put on an electric wire sheathing material such as a corrugated tube. Due to the close contact, the outer sheath of the electric wire, the connector housing, and the exposed electric wire between them are reliably protected by the heat-shrinkable tube, thereby preventing inundation and intrusion of pride. Therefore, the wire connection side of the connector, which has conventionally been difficult to protect, can be reliably protected, and the waterproof and dustproof effects can be achieved.

Further, since only a general-purpose heat-shrinkable tube is used, the cost can be reduced as compared with the case where a dedicated mold is provided as shown in FIG. Yes, and even if the corrugated tube diameter, wire diameter and connector housing size change,
A heat-shrinkable tube of a certain size can be used for shrinking by heating, and is highly versatile.
