본 고안은 자동차용 소음기(SILENCER)의 내부 구조에 관한 것으로, 현재까지 광범위하게 사용되는 소음기의 내부 구조를 개조하여 배기가스의 배출 저항을 줄임으로서 출력과 연비를 향상하고 소음을 줄이는 방법이다.The present invention relates to the internal structure of the silencer (SILENCER) for cars, by improving the internal structure of the silencer widely used to date to reduce the emission resistance of the exhaust gas to improve the output and fuel economy and reduce the noise.

본 고안은 종래의 소음기 구조(본 통에 플레트를 주고 플레트 사이에 파이프가 지나가게 하고 파이프에 구멍을 내어 소음을 줄이는 방법)에서 탈피한 것으로써 플레트에 각도를 주고 플레트 자체를 원형으로 구부려 공기의 흐름을 와류 형태로 바꾸어 배기가스의 유동성을 향상시킴으로써 엔진의 저항을 줄여 줌으로써 출력과 연비를 향상시킴은 물론 소음을 줄이고 공기의 흐름이 빨라짐으로써 소음기 내부 부식성 습기를 배출시킴으로써 내구성에도 큰 도움이 된다.The present invention is a departure from the conventional silencer structure (a way to give the plate a flat and let the pipe pass between the plates and make a hole in the pipe to reduce the noise) to give the angle to the plate and to make the plate itself circular. 본 고안의 구성은 첨부된 도면과 같이 소음기 원통을 두고 원통 내부에 3개의 방을 주었으며 방과 방 사이에 벽을 타원 또는 원형으로 만들어 공기의 흐름을 와류형태로 바꾸었으며 벽에 각도를 15∼20 °로(원통의 지름에 따라 차이가 있으므로) 줌으로써 공기의 흐름을 빠르게 해줌으로써 배기가스와 벽의 접촉각도를 최소화한 구조이므로 종래의 직각인 접촉각도에 비해 공기의 흐름이 탁월하게 된다.The construction of the present invention is provided with three chambers inside the cylinder with a silencer cylinder as shown in the attached drawings. 본 고안은 본인이 소유한 91년식 르망 승용차의 출력이 저하되는 것이 동기가 되어 직업(차량정비: 경력 15년)상 원인 규명에 집착하여 온갖 수단과 방법을 동원하였는데 우연히 소음기 배출구에 소형 선풍기를 부착해 본 결과 소음기에 문제가 있음을 발견하고 개조 작업에 착수하여 다음과 같은 효과를 얻을 수 있었다.This design motivated me to lower the output of my own 91-year-old Le Mans passenger car, and was obsessed with finding out the cause of the job (car maintenance: 15 years of experience) and mobilized all means and methods.
