Abstract

PURPOSE: A starting apparatus for an immobilizer vehicle and a method thereof are provided to start forcibly by using the audio driving password with a driver at troubles of a transponder or a sensor in the immobilizer. CONSTITUTION: A starting device is composed of a loop coil(20) communicating an ignition key to a controller(30) with connecting two signal lines to a reader module; a mode converting unit(80) analyzing the code of the ignition key from the loop coil, and converting into forcible starting in breaking a circuit element of an immobilizer system; an audio driving number input unit(60) inputting the password for driving an audio system(70); the controller detecting data; and an electronic engine control unit(40) driving an injector according to a control signal from the controller, and restricting starting in inputting the different password. The vehicle starts forcibly by using the audio driving password at failure of the immobilizer.
