PURPOSE: An unloader chute protector is provided to take away off time in working and to prevent accidents by opening the cover of the chute under working by an automatic opening and shutting device for the under end cover of conveyor. CONSTITUTION: An unloader chute protector automatically opens and shuts a cover(10) in moving a chute depending on the working conditions when unloading goods from a ship and conveying goods to the under belt conveyor through a rotary belt conveyor. The unloader chute protector includes a link(12) fixed to both sides of the outer end of the cover, a wheel(14) fixed at the lower end of the cover and settled on the rails(11), a wire(17) connected to both sides of the inner end of the cover, a weight(13) fixed to the wire, and a stopper installed at the lower end of the chute so as to contact and pressurize the link.
