Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a feed formulated to improve the color of abalone shells similar to natural products.
About 100 species of abalone are distributed throughout the world, and our country is home to horse abalone, black abalone, five-molecules, sibolt abalone, and abalone abalone. Considering the habitat environment, many forms of abalone are the most suitable species for farming in Korea. In addition, abalone has been established as a premium seafood food since ancient times, and will continue to take its place as an expensive food. Abalone has been farmed mainly by producing artificial seedlings, discharging them to reefs and re-harvesting commodity-sized ones, in part by chalong dropping. However, as interest in abalone farming has increased recently, the number of farms for abalone farming has increased significantly. The abalone farm supplies natural foods such as raw seaweed and raw dashima as food for cultivation, and in summer, dry seaweed and dried dashima are used as main food. These natural feeds are unstable in supply and fluctuate in price, and the use of compounded feeds is being made due to handling and storage problems. For this reason, the use of formulated feed is increasing. However, the shell color of abalone differs greatly from natural abalone when it is supplied with seaweed such as seaweed and kelp, or mixed feed, resulting in a decrease in the value of abalone farmed with these foods.
The present invention is to develop a functional feed composition to increase the marketability by adjusting the abalone shell color similar to natural abalone by adding a raw material containing natural pigment to the abalone compound feed.
Looking more specifically at the configuration of the present invention, the experimental feed used in the experiment was configured to suit the requirements of the abalone protein, lipids, carbohydrates and minerals and vitamins. Five experimental feeds were prepared and tested by varying the mixing ratio of natural pigment-containing substances in each of the blended basic feeds, and the color of the abalone shells was analyzed by analyzing the pigments of the blended feed and abalone shells after the experiment. It was.
In the present invention, according to the natural pigments in the formulated feed, the abalone shell color of the farm could be represented similarly to natural products.
The raw materials of the blended feed were made from North Korean fish meal, soybean meal, seaweed, wheat flour, squid liver oil, and adhesive, and the basic compound feed was prepared to suit the nutritional requirements of abalone. In addition, feeds containing 1-3% of laver powder as a natural pigment source and other pigment-containing substances (eg, paprika pigment, yeast astaxanthin, seaweed powder, and spirulina ) were compared.
The addition examples of the additives are shown in Table 1, and the experimental feed was mixed and prepared at this ratio.
Color Experiment
An average weight of 173 mg of the abalone pulp was received 40 animals per tank, and the test was repeated for 110 days in three replicates for each test sample. Feeding provided a sufficient amount once every two days. After completion of the experiment, the total weight was measured, and the edible part and shell were separated, and the edible part was used for general component analysis. After the end of the experiment, the shell color selection according to the pigment source in the blended feed showed a shell color similar to that of natural abalone in all of the experimental groups supplied with the five powdered feeds containing the seaweed powder.
The shell color comparison was compared with the naked eye based on the practical Korean standard color sampling (Industry Promotion Agency / Korea Broadcasting Corporation, 1991). Chromaticity display is shown in the order of color saturation (a) / brightness (b). As shown in Table 2, all five experimental feeds showed similar colors to the natural abalone shell shell color.
Therefore, it was proved that when the compound feed was prepared using the compound feed composition and supplied to the farmed abalone, the farmed abalone shell color may be similar to the natural acid.
Growth comparison experiment
The average final average body weight, weight and edible weight of the abalone pulp of 173 mg after 110 days of breeding experiments were 781-995 mg of the feed fed with seaweed powder, compared to 774 mg of the crayfish feed. It is expected that the addition of laver powder to the formulated feed may improve the color and growth of the abalone, thus contributing to the aquaculture industry.
It is better to add more than 1% laver powder to the blended feed to make natural abalone shell shell color, and 1-5% of seaweed such as Spirulina, seaweed powder, and mabanban may be added.
Due to the administration of the blended feed composition according to the present invention, the shell color of the abalone can be artificially controlled similar to the natural acid, and has an excellent effect with respect to the growth of the abalone.
