Abstract

PURPOSE: A blower fan of an air conditioner is provided to reduce vibration and noise transmitted from a driving motor to the blower fan by modifying installation structure of the blower fan and the motor for absorbing noise and vibration, and to improve the quality of the product by damping vibration and rolling of the blower fan in unfitting the rotating shaft to the fan hub. CONSTITUTION: A blower fan of an air conditioner is composed of a fan hub(10) having a fitting hole(8) combined with a rotating shaft(6) of a driving motor(4) by fitting; an impeller(12) formed integrally around the fan hub to blow; and a vibration absorbing member(18) installed in a connecting rib(16) connecting the impeller and the fan hub to prevent vibration and noise of the driving motor from being transmitted to the impeller. The rotating shaft is turned in actuating the driving motor, and the blower fan is rotated to blow. Vibration and noise generated from the driving motor are reduced with the vibration absorbing member. Vibration and noise are prevented from being transmitted to the blower fan with mounting the vibration absorbing member between the fan hub and the connecting rib. The quality of the product is improved with preventing rolling of the blower fan.
