Claims (3)
- 상, 하부 기판 내측벽의 하나의 픽셀을 4개의 도메인 즉, a, b, c, d 도메인으로 분할하는 단계;a 도메인에 마이너스 프리 틸트각을 갖는 수평 배향막을 도포하고 러빙 공정을 수행하는 단계;c 도메인에 플러스 프리 틸트각을 갖는 수평 배향막을 도포하고 러빙 공정을 수행하는 단계; 및b, d 도메인에 수직 배항막을 도포하고, 리버스 틸트 도메인 방지를 위한 배향 처리를 수행하여 4개의 도메인 각각이 다른 배향을 갖도록 하는 단계를 포함하여 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 4개의 도메인에 각각의 물리적 특성이 다른 UV 배향막을 도포하여 러빙법 대신 광 배향법 공정을 수행하는 것을 더 포함하여 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조방법.
- 재 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 하부기판 내측벽에 있는 4개로 분할되어 도포된 배향막과 상부기판 내측벽에 있는 배향막은 반대로 배향 처리하여 도포하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조방법.
