Description
The present invention relates to an automatic temperature control system for automobiles. In particular, the present invention excludes a method of receiving a sensing signal of a coolant temperature sensor, and employs a sensing signal of an external temperature sensor and a method using logic according to the related art. It relates to a thermostat system for an automobile that can completely solve the problems.
In general, in accordance with the trend of luxury vehicles, high-techization is being promoted to create a more comfortable space in terms of air conditioning in a car interior, and one of them is a full auto temperature control system.
The automatic temperature control system is a control device of a heater system, which detects a change in ambient temperature, humidity, insolation, and a change in room temperature due to a change in the number of passengers from various sensors to always set a temperature inside a vehicle by a passenger. It is a device to automatically control the discharge temperature, air volume, compressor on / off, suction port, discharge port, etc. to maintain the.
In FATC, heating start control is a function to prevent the discharge of cold air from the outside to the passengers before warming up the engine coolant in winter. The operating conditions, system operation and deactivation conditions are as follows.
1.Operation condition: automatic control reference discharge mode is floor or Bi level,
When coolant temperature is low
2. System operation: -Mode door: Defroster → Mix
Blower speed: Auto low → Auto high
Intake door: Fresh
3. Off:-10 minutes after ignition switch on
When the coolant temperature is high
When selecting system manually
However, in the conventional FATC, since a water temperature sensor must be mounted on the heater core in order to detect the coolant temperature, the cost increases, and there is a problem that heating start control cannot be performed when the water temperature sensor fails. The wiring route from sensor → heater unit wiring → FATC is complicated and there is a high possibility of disconnection and short.
Accordingly, the present invention has been devised in view of the above, and excludes a method of performing heating start control by receiving a sensing signal of a coolant temperature sensor, and employing an existing air temperature sensor while using logic accordingly. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a thermostat system for an automobile that can completely solve various problems related to the removal of the coolant temperature sensor by applying a heating start control method.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The present invention comprises the steps of detecting the outside temperature using an outside temperature sensor, determining whether the outside temperature is less than 5 ℃ and the temperature difference between the inside temperature and the outside temperature is 10 ℃ or greater, and the outside temperature is 5 ℃ If the temperature difference is less than or equal to 10 ° C and higher than 10 ° C, auto setting the defroster of the heater mode and setting the blower mode to low, and heating start control time after setting the heater mode and the blower mode. Determining for each temperature, and comparing the internal temperature and the outdoor temperature, if the temperature value of the internal temperature is greater than 10 ℃ characterized in that consisting of the step of releasing the heating start control.
In particular, in the step of determining the heating start control time for each temperature of the outside air, the heating start control time is determined to be 8 minutes when the outside temperature is -15 ° C or less, and 6 minutes when the temperature is -14.5 to -10 ° C. If it is -1 ° C, it is determined as 4 minutes, and if it is -0.5 to 5 ° C, it is determined to be 2 minutes.
This will be described in more detail as follows.
The present invention deletes the existing coolant temperature sensor in the automotive thermostat system, and the operating condition, system operating condition, deactivation condition through a predetermined logic while the detected value of the external air temperature sensor provided in the existing FATC as an input signal By newly setting, efficient heating start control is made possible.
To this end, the operating method of the automatic temperature control system according to the present invention adopts a method of operating under the ambient temperature condition by the outside temperature sensor.
As an operating condition, the outside air temperature is 5 ° C. or less, and the operation is performed while the inside temperature is 10 ° C. or less than the outside temperature.
If the above conditions are satisfied, the defroster in heater mode is set to auto while the speed of the blower motor is set to auto low.
The operating time is determined in several stages, depending on the ambient temperature, for example: 8 minutes if the outside temperature is below -15 ° C, 6 minutes if -14.5-10 ° C, 4 minutes if -9.5--1 ° C,- If it is 0.5 ~ 5 ℃, it is decided as 2 minutes so that the operating time can be effectively determined according to the outside temperature.
In addition, the air volume control time for starting is preferably set to about 60 seconds.
As an operation deactivation condition, when the internal temperature rises above 10 ° C above the ambient temperature, the operation can be stopped.
2 is a flowchart illustrating a control process of the automatic temperature control system according to the present invention.
First, in the first step, the detection value through the outside temperature sensor is input, and in the second step, the outside temperature condition and the temperature difference between the inside temperature and the outside temperature are determined.
That is, when the outside temperature is 5 degrees C or less, and the temperature difference between the inside temperature and the outside temperature is 10 degrees C or more, and the inside temperature is low, it is determined as a system operating state.
Failure to meet these operating conditions will return to system completion.
Subsequently, in the third and fourth stages, when the above operating conditions are satisfied, the heater mode, the blower mode, the operating time, and the like are set.
In other words, the heater mode is set to auto defroster and the blower mode is set to auto low.
In the fifth step, as described above, the operating time at this time is set according to the outside temperature.
Finally, in the sixth step, when the bet temperature differs by more than 10 ° C. from the outside temperature, it is determined to be deactivated.
As described above, the present invention improves the method of using the detected value of the external air temperature sensor instead of the method of using the detected value of the existing coolant temperature sensor, thereby enabling the deletion of the coolant temperature sensor, thereby solving various problems related to the conventional coolant temperature sensor. There is an advantage that can be completely eliminated.
