Abstract

PURPOSE: A magnet fixing device for permanent magnet type motor is provided to automate permanent magnet assembly process by separating magnet fixing devices in an easy manner. CONSTITUTION: A magnet fixing device(4) having a channel shape to be inserted between a magnet and an inter-pole, and which is shaped into a square C having ends of both side walls cut in a vertical direction so as to be elastically spread outward. The magnet fixing device has, at both ends of the side walls, an auxiliary elastic piece(4a) which is bendable outward, and at both ends of the bottom surface of the fixing device, a spacing elastic piece(4b) which is bendable inward. The spacing elastic piece has an elastic force sufficient to support a plurality of magnet fixing devices overlapped each other.
