Abstract

PURPOSE: A gate of an injection mold is provided to exclude post-processes of products by preventing error in a process of shearing a gate portion of injection molding. CONSTITUTION: Plural notches(21) are formed at each contact portion between a gate(20) and a product(10). The plural notches are formed on the upper, the lower, the left and the right portion of the gate. A side gate has thickness of 0.5-1.5mm, width of 1.5-5mm and gate land of 1.5-2.5mm. The gate must be post-processed if the gate is not sheared from the product at once. The gate is separated from the product easily by the notches even though a worker shears the gate with hands. A crack is not generated to the body of the product in a process of separating the gate from the product. In addition, the gate is sheared promptly with precision.
