Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for producing an organic compost composition by using pulp sludge and ocher is provided, which recycles the wasted resources. The organic compost composition does not cause any soil contamination and environmental pollution and has self-cleanability and decomposability. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: (i) forming pure ocher powder having a particle size of less than 2 millimeters; (ii) mixing the pure ocher powder obtained from the step (i) with pulp sludge; (iii) spraying an adequate amount of water to the mixture obtained from the step (ii) and mixing them to have a water content of about 20%; (iv) secondarily mixing the mixture obtained from the step (iii) to uniformly mix it; and (v) fermenting the mixture obtained from the step (iv) by covering the mixture with a vinyl to keep the temperature at over 30 deg.C for about 60 days.
