Abstract

PURPOSE: A mordant composition preferably compatible with cement materials is provided for accomplishing superior compatibility, and light-, alkali- and weather-resistances by comprising phthalocyanine pigment and extender. CONSTITUTION: The mordant composition having superior compatibility with cement material comprises pigment gel containing 40-70 wt.% of water and 30-60 wt.% of phthalocyanine pigment; 0.2-2 wt.% of surfactant; and extender containing at least one of silica powder, kaolin, calcium carbonate, aluminum silicate, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide and iron oxide. The contents of the pigment gel and extender are preferably controlled according to degree of staining. The mordant composition can maximize the miscibility with cement product by treating the hydrophilic interface of phthalocyanine pigment with hydrophobic interface and reducing difference in specific gravities between the composition and the cement products.
