Abstract

본 발명은 DTV 수상기에 관한 것으로, 특히 디지털 신호로 전송되는 광고 콘텐트를 저장, 검색 및 출력할 수 있는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 DTV 수상기에 있어서, 광고 콘텐트 제공자가 제공하는 광고 콘텐트를 수신하여 로컬 스토리지에 저장하고 사용자의 명령에 따라 로컬 스토리지에 저장되어 있는 광고 콘텐트를 검색하여 디스플레이 수단으로 출력하는 프로세서를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명은 사용자에게는 편의성을 제공하며 광고주에게는 광고의 효과를 제고할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

Description

광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 디티브이 수상기{Digital television receiver incorporating a function of advertisement catalog}
본 발명은 DTV 수상기에 관한 것으로, 특히 디지털 신호로 전송되는 광고 콘텐트를 저장, 검색 및 출력할 수 있는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기에 관한 것이다.
종래의 아날로그 TV의 경우 광고는 일회성으로 한 번 지나가면 잘 기억이 되지 않는 특성이 있어서 소비자가 광고 내용을 다시 확인하고 싶은 경우에는 다음 번 광고를 기다리거나, 아니면 즉석에서 메모를 해 두어야 하는 불편한 점이 있다.
DTV에서 광고는 디지털 신호의 형태로 전송 되므로, 정보의 저장이 아날로그 TV 보다 용이하다. 따라서, 광고가 지나가고 있을 때 이를 간단히 저장하고, 추후 필요할 경우 다시 로드(load) 하여 검색할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다면 사용자에게편의성을 제공함은 물론 광고주에게도 이득을 줄 수 있을 것이다.
따라서, 본 발명은 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 안출한 것으로, 디지털 신호로 전송되는 광고 콘텐트의 저장, 검색, 및 출력 기능을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.

상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 DTV 수상기는, 광고 콘텐트 제공자가 제공하는 광고 콘텐트를 수신하여 로컬 스토리지에 저장하고, 사용자의 명령에 따라 로컬 스토리지에 저장되어 있는 광고 콘텐트를 검색하여 디스플레이 수단으로 출력하는 프로세서를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명의 다른 특징은, 광고 콘텐트를 로컬 스토리지에 저장함에 있어서, 상기 광고 내용의 인지에 필요한 특정 필드 위주로 색인화하여 저장하는데 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 특징은, 상기 프로세서는 카탈로그 디스플레이 수단을 포함하여 구성되며, 상기 카탈로그 디스플레이 수단은 콘텐트 리스트 디스플레이 기능 및 콘텐트 디스플레이 기능을 포함하는 데 있다.
이하 본 발명에 따른 DTV 수상기의 바람직한 실시예에 대하여 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 설명하면 다음과 같다.
도 1은 본 발명의 개념을 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
이와 같은 본 발명에 따른 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기의 작용을 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 설명하면 다음과 같다.
먼저, 광고 콘텐트 제공자(1)는 전송되는 광고 콘텐트를 사용자가 용이하게검색할 수 있도록 광고 콘텐트에 특정한 필드 정보를 포함하여 전송 한다. 포함될 검색 필드의 내용은, 간단하게 예를 들면 제품명이나, 문의 전화번호, 인터넷 홈페이지 정보, 혹은 쿠폰 정보 등이 포함될 수 있다.
사용자(혹은 소비자)(2)는 광고 내용의 저장이 필요할 경우 해당 광고의 내용을 저장하라는 명령을 DTV 시스템(3)에 준다.
DTV 시스템(3)의 프로세서(3a)는 사용자의 명령에 대응하여 수신되는 광고 콘텐트를 로컬 스토리지(4)에 저장하게 하는데, 동 로컬 스토리지(4)는 제품명과 같은 광고 검색에 필요한 특정 필드 위주의 정보에 따라 색인화 하여 저장하게 된다.
사용자는 추후에 광고 내용의 확인이 필요할 경우 검색 명령을 DTV 시스템(3)의 프로세서(3a)에 주게 되고, 상기 프로세서(3a)는 사용자의 명령에 대응하여 로컬 스토리지(4)에 저장되어 있는 광고 콘텐트를 검색하여 디스플레이(5)로 출력 한다.
이 때, 광고 콘텐트의 디스플레이는 먼저 콘텐트 리스트 형태로 이루어 지고, 사용자의 선택에 따라 선택된 광고의 콘텐트를 카탈로그화 하여 디스플레이 한다.
카탈로그 디스플레이는 프로세서 내의 카탈로그 디스플레이 수단에 의하여 이루어 질 수 있다. 동 카탈로그 디스플레이 수단은 한 예로서 카탈로그 제공 소프트웨어 프로그램으로 구현될 수 있는데, 사용자는 이 카탈로그 프로그램을 이용하여 필요한 광고의 내용을 검색할 수 있다.
상기 카탈로그 프로그램은 광고 콘텐트를 사용자 인터페이스(user interface) 형태로 카탈로그화 하여 사용자에게 제공 한다.
검색 단계에서 사용자는 검색된 광고 콘텐트를 확인 후 삭제 하거나, 필요할 경우 외부의 프린터를 통하여 출력할 수 있다. 이 기능은 예를 들면 쿠폰과 같은 정보의 출력에 매우 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
본 발명은 디지털 신호의 형태로 전송되는 광고 콘텐트를 간단히 저장하고, 추후 필요할 경우 다시 로드(load) 하여 검색 및 가공할 수 있는 기능을 제공 함으로써 사용자에게 편의성을 제공함은 물론 광고주에게도 광고 효과를 제고하는 이득을 주는 효과가 있다.

Claims (6)

  1. DTV 수상기에 있어서, 광고 콘텐트 제공자가 제공하는 광고 콘텐트를 수신하여 로컬 스토리지에 저장하고, 사용자의 명령에 따라 로컬 스토리지에 저장되어 있는 광고 콘텐트를 검색하여 디스플레이 수단으로 출력하는 프로세서를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 광고 콘텐트는 광고 내용의 인지에 필요한 특정 필드 위주로 색인화하여 저장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 카탈로그 디스플레이 수단을 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기.
  4. 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 카탈로그 디스플레이 수단은 콘텐트 리스트 디스플레이 기능 및 콘텐트 디스플레이 기능을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기.
  5. 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 카탈로그 디스플레이 수단은 소프트웨어 프로그램으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기.
  6. 제 1항에 있어서, 광고 콘텐트의 출력은 사용자의 명령에 따라 외부의 프린터로 출력됨을 특징으로 하는 광고 카탈로그 기능을 갖는 DTV 수상기.
