Description
Claims (11)
- 3차원 데이터베이스에 나타나는 물리적 위치와 가장 근접한 포인트 간의 최소 거리를 결정하는 장치에 있어서,셋 이상의 궤도를 선회하는 GPS 위성으로부터 셋 이상의 GPS신호를 수신에서 처리하여, 상기 물리적 위치를 나타내는 질의 포인트(query point)의 3차원 좌표를 결정하는 수신기와,3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스를 액세스하는 메모리 판독기능- 상기 데이터베이스는 복수의 레코드를 갖고, 상기 각 레코드는 다른 물리적 위치를 나타내는 참조 위치들과 연관된 하나 이상의 다각형, 하나 이상의 에지 및 하나 이상의 정점의 표시를 가짐-과하나 이상의 프로세서에 의해 실행되어, 상기 질의 포인트로부터, 상기 질의 포인트에 대해 가장 근접한 피처를 나타내는 하나 이상의 상기 참조 위치까지의 거리를 결정하는 위치결정 프로세서(a location process)를 포함하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스는 다각형, 에지 및 정점을 포함하며, 상기 다각형, 에지 및 정점 중 어느 하나 이상에 대해 다양한 유형의 데이터를 연관시키는 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 연관된 데이터는 식물이나 동물의 유형, 바위나 토양의 유형, 다양한 광물질의 존재를 표시하는 데이터, 유전 데이터, 빌딩의 높이 및 크기와, 도로, 철길 혹은 통로의 근접도와 같은 텍스트로서 기술될 수 있는 데이터와, 디지털 이미지, 비디오 데이터나 사운드 데이터와 같은 멀티미디어 데이터 중 하나 이상의 데이터인 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 프로세서는 데이터 입력장치로부터의 입력 데이터를 또한 수신하여, 상기 입력 데이터를 상기 3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스를 편집하는데 사용하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 거리및 가장 근접한 피처는 다중 분석 프로세스에 의해 결정되는 장치.
- 3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스 상의 가장 근접한 피처의 위치를 결정하는 방법에 있어서,다중 분석 계층을 가진 3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스 내에서 거리와 질의 포인트에 대한 하나 이상의 가장 근접한 피처를 결정하는 단계와,상기 질의 포인트에 대하여 가장 근접한 다각형, 가장 근접한 에지 및 가장 근접한 정점을 결정하는 단계와,상기 가장 근접한 다각형, 가장 근접한 에지 및 가장 근접한 정점 중 어느 하나와 연관된 데이터를 연관시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 연관된 데이터를 디스플레이하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 하나 이상의 가장 근접한 피처에 연관된 데이터를 수정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 연관된 데이터는 부가 데이터(add data)인 방법.
- 3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스 상의 가장 근접한 피처를 위치 결정하기 위한 시스템에 있어서,다중 분석 계층을 갖는 3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스 내에서 거리와 질의 포인트에 대한 하나 이상의 가장 근접한 피처를 결정하기 위한 수단과,상기 질의 포인트에 대해 가장 근접한 다각형, 가장 근접한 에지 및 가장 근접한 정점을 결정하기 위한 수단과,연관된 데이터를 상기 가장 근접한 다각형, 가장 근접한 에지 및 가장 근접한 정점 중 어느 하나와 연관시키기 위한 수단을 포함하는 시스템.
- 다중 분석 계층을 갖는 3차원 기하학적 데이터베이스 내에서 거리와 질의 포인트에 대한 하나 이상의 가장 근접한 피처를 결정하는 단계와,상기 질의 포인트에 대해 가장 근접한 다각형, 가장 근접한 에지 및 가장 근접한 정점을 결정하는 단계와,연관된 데이터를 상기 가장 근접한 다각형, 가장 근접한 에지 및 가장 근접한 정점 중 어느 하나와 연관시키는 단계를 포함하는 프로그램을 갖는 컴퓨터 프로그램 제품.
