Abstract

PURPOSE: A photochromic manicure containing photochromic coloring materials, which are encapsulated in microcapsule, is provided for auto-controlling the color exhibition by exposing to or protecting from ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION: The photochromic manicure, which does not show its color in room but shows in outdoor, contains pellicle-forming agent, plasticizer, volatile solvent, and coloring material, in which coloring material is photochromic compound such as spirooxazine derivatives in the microcapsule ink form and is added to photochromic manicure in the range of from 1 to 30 wt.%. The method for producing photochromic manicure comprises the steps of: mixing lacquer base and diluent at 1,200rpm for 20 minutes; adding isopropyl alcohol and D-camper and mixing them at 1,200rpm for 10 minutes; adding acryl resin and dibutyl phthalate and mixing them at 300rpm for 5 minutes; adding nitrocellulose and mixing; and adding photochromic microcapsule ink to produce manicure having 1,700cp.
