Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for improving the electrodeposition of plasma spray is provided, which is free from releasing. CONSTITUTION: The substrate is surface-treated by spraying ceramic balls having a diameter of several micrometers by using a sand blaster, thereby the smooth surface is transformed into the very rough embossed surface. And then the substrate having a rough embossed surface is coated with metals such as tantalum or aluminium by plasma spray method.

Description

How to improve plasma spray electrodeposition

The present invention relates to a method of improving electrodeposition property of the surface of a metal coating layer when melting and thermally spraying a metal such as tantalum or aluminum by a plasma spray method.

Electrolytic method is usually used as a method of coating metal on tantalum or aluminum foil, but electrolysis requires bulky electrolyzer due to its characteristics, and it is also annoying to make solution and post-treatment. Uses a plasma spray method. Plasma spraying is a method in which a metal to be coated is put in a plasma spray gun, melted, and then sprayed directly onto a base plate to be coated. In this case, when the molten metal is sprayed on the base plate of tantalum or aluminum, the sprayed metal is sprayed onto the coating layer having a smooth surface state by a plasma spray method, so that the sprayed metal is not easily electrodeposited and peeled off.

The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and has the object of embossing the surface of the base plate to be coated so that the sprayed metal is well electrodeposited.

The present invention is a method of coating a metal on the base plate by the plasma spray method in order to achieve the above object, after spraying a ceramic ball using a sandblaster on the surface of the base plate to form an embossing on the surface plasma spray It provides a plasma spray electrodeposition improving method characterized in that the coating by spraying a metal to be coated using a method.

Referring to the configuration and operation of the present invention in detail.

The surface of the thin plate is embossed by spraying a ceramic ball having a diameter of several μm using a sand blaster to the base plate to be coated. This thin plate surface is then formed into a very rough embossed form by ceramic balls. Thereafter, the metal to be coated is sprayed on the surface of the embossed sheet using a plasma spray gun to coat the coating.

As described above, the present invention forms an embossed surface having a very rough surface by ceramic balls, and when the metal to be sprayed is sprayed onto the metal base material by plasma spray gun, the molten metal is well electrodeposited onto the base material to be coated to improve electrodeposition property. It is effective in preventing peeling phenomenon.
