Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an oil strainer of a lubrication device, and more particularly, to a mounting structure of an oil strainer that drives an engine oil contained in an oil pan to a pump and simultaneously removes impurities.
As is well known, the engine of an automobile has many parts rubbing against each other, and among these parts, they are often rubbed at high speeds under a considerable load.
The load generated at the frictional part causes torque loss of the engine, and also wears the parts, which shortens the service life and is a win-in for the engine.
Thus, the engine is equipped with a lubrication device. The lubrication device maintains a constant pressure of the oil pan, the oil pan, which stores oil, the oil pump that pumps oil stored in the oil pan to each moving part of the engine, the oil strainer that removes impurities contained in the oil, and the oil pump. It consists of a hydraulic regulator, a valve device that adjusts pressure.
Figure 1 shows the structure of a conventionally known oil pan and cylinder block. Reference numeral 1 denotes an oil pan body, and the oil pan 1 is mounted to a lower portion of a cylinder block (not shown) in which a crank shaft 2 is installed.
In addition, an oil strainer 3 is installed inside the oil pan 1 to guide the stored oil to an oil pump (not shown) and remove impurities.
On the other hand, the crankshaft (2) is further supported by a bearing cap (4) supporting from below and mounted on the lower part of the cylinder block.
In the above-described lubrication apparatus of the prior art, the oil strainer 3 should always be immersed in the engine oil.
However, the conventional oil strainer 3 is simply supported by the bracket 5, and is mounted in a structure that is structurally weak and easily deformed.
When the oil strainer 3 is deformed, the open lower part is exposed to the outside so that air can be introduced therein. This air enters the engine and seriously damages the sliding parts.
As proposed for the purpose of solving the problems of the prior art, the present invention improves the mounting structure of the oil strainer, it is possible to maintain the structural stability against strong vibration of the vehicle body.
