Abstract
본 발명은 슬라브(SLAB) 연주기에서 생산되는 강의 주조시 다발하는 구속성 브랙아웃(BREAK OUT)과 면세로 크랙을 저감하기 위한 몰드 플럭스(MOLD FLUX)에 관한 것이다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. 본 발명은 강의 주조시 사용되는 몰드 플럭스에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 슬라브(SLAB) 연주기에서의 흑연을 이용한 몰드플럭스 제조로 주조시 다발하는 구속성 브랙아웃(Break-Out) 및 결함발생을 저감하기 위한 몰드 플럭스(mold flux)에 관한 것이다.는 분말 또는 과립 형상의 합성슬래그(SLAG)를 말한다. 또한, 미설명부호 8은 몰드 슬래그, 9는 침지노즐을 나타낸다. 몰드 플럭스는 윤활제 역할이외에도 복합적인 역할을 수행하는데 이러한 기능을 정리하면 다음과 같다.The present invention relates to a mold flux used in the casting of steel, and more particularly, to reduce the occurrence of constrained break-out and defects during casting by the production of mold flux using graphite in a slab player. 상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 몰드 플럭스 성분중 탄소의 종류를 코크스 파우더(COKE POWDER)에서 흑연(Graphite)으로 변경하는 것을 특징으로 한다.가 코크스파우더인 종래재에 비해서 200℃가 높아서 비교적 높은 온도까지 몰드플럭스를 변화시키지 않고, 유지할 수 있다는 점과 또한 흑연의 연소와 제품의 용융이 근접한 온도에서 이루어지는 특성을 보인다.
