병아리 입수 후 일정 지점 및 일령별 암모니아 및 황하수소 농도를 측정한 결과 15일령 이전까지 검출되지 않았다. 이는 병아리 성장 초기이고 사육동의 환기시설 구동에 따른 결과로 보인다. 암모니아농도를 보면 최대 13ppm 이하로 농림축산식품부에서 제시한 동물복지형 사육기준인 암모니아 농도 20ppm(2025년 적용)이하로 조사되었다.
