Claims (12)
- 환자의 혈당 조절을 위한 자동화 시스템에 있어서,
혈당 센서(101);
인슐린 주사 장치(103); 및
처리 및 제어 유닛(105),
을 포함하고, 상기 처리 및 제어 유닛(105)은,
a) 과거의 관찰 기간 동안 상기 센서(101)에 의해 측정된 혈당을 고려하여, 상기 환자의 혈당의 전개를 예측할 수 있는 생리학적 모델의 자동화된 보정 단계를 구현할 수 있고;
b) 상기 보정 단계의 종료시, 상기 모델로부터 추정된 상기 혈당과, 상기 과거의 관찰 기간 동안 상기 센서에 의해 측정된 실제 혈당 사이의 오차를 나타내는 적어도 하나의 수치 지표를 계산할 수 있고;
c) 상기 적어도 하나의 수치 지표의 값을 고려하여, 예측 기간의 지속 시간을 결정할 수 있고 - 상기 예측 기간의 지속 시간은 상기 모델로부터 추정된 상기 혈당과 상기 과거 관찰 기간 동안 상기 센서에 의해 측정된 상기 실제 혈당 사이의 오차가 현저하면 더 짧아지도록 선택되고, 반대에는 더 길어지도록 선택됨 -; 및
d) 상기 생리학적 모델로부터, 향후 상기 예측 기간 동안 상기 환자의 혈당의 향후 전개를 예측하고, 상기 예측을 고려하여 상기 인슐린 주사 장치(103)를 제어할 수 있고,
상기 단계 a) 내지 단계 d)는 일정한 간격으로 반복되는, 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 수치 지표는 상기 모델로부터 추정된 상기 혈당과 상기 과거 관찰 기간 동안 상기 센서(101)에 의해 측정된 상기 실제 혈당 간의 표준 편차를 포함하는, 시스템.

- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 처리 및 제어 유닛(105)은 단계 b) 후에, 상기 적어도 하나의 수치 지표의 값에 기초하여, 상기 모델이 상기 인슐린 주사 장치의 제어를 위한 기초로서 사용하기에 충분히 신뢰할 수 있는지 여부를 결정하고, 반대의 경우 상기 모델로부터 수행된 상기 예측을 고려하지 않고, 대체 방법에 따라 상기 인슐린 주사 장치(103)를 제어하는 것이 추가적으로 가능한, 시스템.
- 제6항 있어서, 상기 처리 및 제어 유닛(105)은, 상기 모델이 충분히 신뢰할 수 있는지를 결정하기 위해, 상기 적어도 하나의 수치 지표의 값을 제2 임계 값과 비교하도록 구성되는, 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 처리 및 제어 유닛(105)은 상기 환자에 대해 측정된 과거 데이터로부터 상기 제2 임계 값을 결정하고 자동으로 조절하는 것이 가능하여, 상기 인슐린 주사 장치(103)의 제어가 상기 시간의 적어도 소정 퍼센트 동안 상기 모델에 의한 상기 예측에 기초하도록 하는, 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 대체 방법은 단순화된 생리학적 모델에 기초하는 예측 제어 방법인, 시스템.
