A first object of the present invention is to solve this problem and to minimize the accumulation of foreign substances in the sensing unit of the humidity sensor.
A second object of the present invention is to allow foreign substances accumulated around the humidity sensor to be easily removed.
A third object of the present invention is to minimize the flow resistance of air while achieving the first and second objects.
The object of the present invention is not limited to the above objects.
In order to solve the first problem, the solution means of the present invention provides a sensor cover for accommodating a humidity sensor, and the opening of the sensor cover faces the opposite direction to the air flow direction.
In order to solve the second problem, the solution means of the present invention is such that the opening of the sensor cover faces downward, and the lower side of the inner surface of the sensor cover is inclined downward in the downstream direction.
In order to solve the third problem, the solution means of the present invention provides a streamlined sensor cover.
In order to solve the above problems, the laundry treatment apparatus according to the present invention, the drum for accommodating the cloth; an air supply passage for guiding air to be introduced into the drum; an exhaust passage guiding air to be discharged from the drum; a sensor cover disposed in the exhaust passage and forming an inner space having an opening facing a direction opposite to an air flow direction; and a humidity sensor disposed in the inner space of the sensor cover. Based on a cross-sectional area in a direction perpendicular to the air flow direction, a cross-sectional area of the opening is greater than a cross-sectional area of the upstream portion of the inner space.
The humidity sensor may be disposed upstream of the inner space.
The inner space may be formed to have a larger cross-sectional area toward a downstream direction.
The direction of the opening of the inner space may include a downward component.
A lower surface of the inner surface of the sensor cover may form a downward slope in a downstream direction.
The exhaust passage may include a passage portion for guiding air downward. The sensor cover may be disposed in the passage portion.
The upstream portion of the sensor cover may be formed in a streamlined shape with respect to an air flow direction.
The outer surface of the sensor cover may be formed to become larger toward the downstream side.
The outer surface of the sensor cover may be formed to be elongated in the air flow direction, and the inner space may be formed to be elongated in the air flow direction.
In order to solve the above problems, the laundry treatment apparatus according to the present invention, the drum for accommodating the cloth; an air supply passage for guiding air to be introduced into the drum; an exhaust passage guiding air to be discharged from the drum; a sensor cover disposed in the exhaust passage, facing a direction opposite to the air flow direction and forming an inner space having an opening facing downward; and a humidity sensor disposed in the inner space of the sensor cover.
By making the opening of the sensor cover face the opposite direction to the air flow direction, the contact of foreign substances to the humidity sensor is blocked, and the accumulation of foreign substances in the opening is also effective.
Since the humidity sensor is disposed upstream of the internal space, it is effective to make it difficult for foreign substances to reach the humidity sensor through the opening.
In addition, by increasing the cross-sectional area of the opening, there is an effect of preventing a phenomenon in which the opening is blocked by the accumulation of foreign substances. Furthermore, since the cross-sectional area of the inner space becomes wider in the downstream direction, the accumulation of foreign substances becomes more difficult in the downstream direction of the inner space.
In addition, some stagnation occurs in the flow of air around the inner periphery of the opening, and foreign substances may be deposited. As the opening faces downward, foreign substances accumulated around the opening are easily dropped out of the sensor cover by gravity. It works.
In addition, since the lower surface of the inner surface of the sensor cover forms a downward inclination in the downstream direction, even if the dropped foreign material falls on the inner surface of the sensor cover, it has an effect of being naturally discharged to the outside by gravity.
In addition, by forming the upstream portion of the sensor cover in a streamlined shape or by forming the outer surface to become larger toward the downstream side, there is an effect of minimizing the flow path resistance.
In addition, by forming the outer surface and the inner space of the sensor cover to be elongated in the air flow direction, the directionality of the air flowing along the outer surface of the sensor cover is maintained, and it is difficult for foreign substances to reach the humidity sensor through the opening. It has the effect of doing
