Description
The present invention relates to a film removing apparatus and a method therefor, and more particularly, to a film removing apparatus attached to a display panel and a method therefor.
In general, a liquid crystal display device is one of the most widely used flat panel display devices at present. It consists of two display panels on which electric field generating electrodes are formed and a liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween. A display device that adjusts the transmittance of light passing through a liquid crystal layer by rearranging molecules. A polarizing plate is attached to the outside of the liquid crystal display panel composed of two display panels to produce polarized light that vibrates in a specific direction to usefully express images.
When an abnormality occurs in the attachment state of the polarizing plate due to air bubbles or foreign substances interposed between the polarizing plate and the liquid crystal display panel, the polarizing plate is removed using a polarizing plate removal device, and the polarizing plate is attached again using a polarizing plate attachment device.
As the demand for such a thin liquid crystal display increases, the thickness of the polarizing plate also becomes thinner. However, as the thickness of the polarizing plate decreases, when the polarizing plate is removed using a polarizing plate removing device, the polarizing plate is easily torn.
In order to prevent this, the rate at which the polarizing plate is peeled off from the liquid crystal display panel in the polarizing plate removing device is slowed, but in this case, the overall process speed is slowed and productivity may be reduced.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, an object to be peeled applied to the film removal apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.
1 is a cross-sectional view of a body to be peeled applied to a film removal device according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 1 , an object to be peeled includes a
The
A film is disposed on the substrate. The film may be an optical film, a protective film, a support film, or the like. The film may be mounted on the substrate or may be attached to one surface of the substrate through the
In this embodiment, a case in which a liquid crystal display panel is applied as a substrate and a film disposed on the substrate is a polarizing film will be described as an example.
편광 필름은 OCA(Optically Clear Adhesive)나 OCR(Optically Clear Resin)을 통해 액정 표시 패널의 적어도 일면에 부착된다. The liquid crystal display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, and a liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween. A polarizing film is attached to at least one surface of the liquid crystal display panel to control the amount of light passing through the liquid crystal display panel. The polarizing film is attached to at least one surface of the liquid crystal display panel through OCA (Optically Clear Adhesive) or OCR (Optically Clear Resin).
However, when the polarizing film is attached to the liquid crystal display panel, if foreign substances are interposed or
Hereinafter, a film removing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.
2 is a perspective view of a film removal device according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 2 , the film removing apparatus includes a
The
The
A winding
The
The driving unit drives the movement of the winding
Although the driving unit causes both the take-up
