Description
The present invention relates to a cable connector for connecting an electronic device such as a camera module and a cable, and more particularly, to a cable connector for connecting a cable for supplying signals and power to the electronic device.
Various electronic devices such as camera modules are configured to receive external power and transmit and receive electrical signals to and from external control devices. Especially, in the case of electronic devices for vehicles, they are arranged at various locations inside the vehicle, so they are connected to power and control devices that are located at a distance. A cable prepared to be used is generally used. However, since cables prepared for transmission of various signals usually include a plurality of stations, it is very cumbersome to connect the electronic devices by peeling off the outer sheath of the cable and the insulation of the internal lines whenever the operator installs and repairs the electronic device. If the signal line (extension line) is incorrectly connected, it may cause malfunction of the device. Therefore, in order to connect electronic devices that perform a specific function while maintaining excellent electrical reliability, a separate cable connector is required.
On the other hand, a connector for connecting various signal lines included in a cable to an electronic device should have low noise generated at the connection portion and should not have the risk of disconnection of each signal line. In addition, moisture generated inside a cable including a plurality of extension lines may infiltrate the connection portion with the electronic device, thereby causing corrosion of the connection portion. Therefore, the cable connector for connecting electronic devices for vehicles that can be easily exposed to temperature changes in the external environment to the cable must not only have excellent electrical connection reliability and physical fastening force, but also the penetration of moisture from outside or inside the cable. Should be able to prevent.
In the conventional cable connector, in order to achieve the required physical tensile strength and at the same time prevent moisture from penetrating into the cable, the inner line of the cable and the electrically conductive portion of the cable are adhered and sealed with an adhesive. However, in terms of manufacturing, when an adhesive is used during the manufacturing process, not only the manufacturing process is complicated, but also the cost increases.
An object of the present invention is to provide a cable connector having a new structure capable of easily manufacturing a cable connector that satisfies the required electrical and mechanical connection reliability without using an adhesive, unlike a conventional cable connector.

1 is a schematic diagram showing the components of a non-bonding cable connector according to the present invention separated. As shown in FIG. 1, the

As shown in FIG. 2,
Next, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the
Meanwhile, a pair of
내피(120)는 리테이너(300)에 의해 가압될 때 일부 변형되어 터미널수용홈(410)의 미세 공극을 효과적으로 메우게 된다(도 7 참조).Returning to FIG. 1 again, after each terminal 200 is fastened to the end of the
Next, after fastening all of the
As will be described later, the
That is, in the case of forming a molding part constituting the
In the present invention, in order to prevent such a problem, a double molding structure of the
아울러 외측몰딩부(520)를 형성하기 위해서는, PBT(Polybutylene Terephthalate; 폴리부티렌 테레프탈레이트) 수지를 사용하는 것이 바람직하다. Meanwhile, when the
The cable connector having the above structure is excellent in watertightness without using an adhesive, and at the same time, electrical and mechanical connection reliability is improved. In particular, since there is no need to use an adhesive at all when manufacturing a cable connector, the manufacturing process is simpler, which is advantageous for cost reduction. Therefore, it is possible to effectively reduce the proportion of manual labor in manufacturing the cable connector, and as a result, it is more advantageous in reducing cost and product cost.
