Description

광학 필름용 점착제층, 광학 필름용 점착 필름{ADHESIVE LAYER FOR OPTICAL FILM, ADHESIVE FILM FOR OPTICAL FILM}Adhesive layer for optical films, adhesive film for optical films {ADHESIVE LAYER FOR OPTICAL FILM, ADHESIVE FILM FOR OPTICAL FILM}

The present invention relates to an adhesive layer for an optical film, an adhesive film for an optical film, and an adhesive composition for an optical film for producing them. More specifically, to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for an optical film, a pressure-sensitive adhesive film for optical films, and an optical film pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for manufacturing them, which have excellent heat resistance and durability used for bonding optical films mounted to an image display device It is about.

In recent years, various optical films have been used in various image display devices. For example, for the purpose of improving contrast, preventing reflection of external light, and the like, optical films such as polarizing films and retardation films are used. In order to bond these optical films to adherends such as liquid crystal panels and organic EL (electroluminescence) panels, various adhesive films have been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1). Further, between the reflective layer on the back of the organic EL panel and the polarizing film, one sheet of 1/4λ retardation film having an angle to the polarization axis of the polarizing film is −45°, or one sheet of 1/2λ retardation film having −15° It is known that reflection of external light can be suppressed by arranging one sheet of 1/4λ retardation film of −75°.

Japanese Patent Application Publication 2012-201734

As described above, in order to prevent reflection of the organic EL panel from external light, a retardation film having a reverse wavelength dispersion (increasing as birefringence increases with a longer wavelength) is formed between the polarizing film and the organic EL panel. In addition, in the prior art, a retardation film having a material of polycarbonate-based film is widely used as a retardation film having 1/4λ. However, when a polycarbonate-based film was used, there was a problem that foaming by outgas from the polycarbonate could not be suppressed.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for optical films of the present invention is preferably used for bonding of various optical films attached to an image display device. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for optical films of the present invention includes "polarizing film/pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for optical films", "polarizing film/pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for optical films/release film", "polarizing film/pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for optical films/phase difference film/optical film" Adhesive layer", "polarizing film / adhesive layer for optical film / phase difference film / adhesive layer for optical film / release film", etc. can also be preferably used.

Examples of the image display device according to the present invention include, but are not limited to, a liquid crystal display device (liquid crystal panel), an organic EL display device (liquid crystal panel), a touch panel, electronic paper, and the like. Hereinafter, an organic EL panel will be described as a representative example, but the present invention based on these concepts can be applied to other image display devices such as liquid crystal panels.

A material of the retardation film mounted on the organic EL panel includes a polycarbonate compound, and a material having reverse wavelength dispersion (increasing as birefringence becomes longer) is preferable. The polycarbonate compound is a resin containing a carbonate bond (-O-CO-O-) in a repeating unit of the polymer, and various chemical structures, such as aromatic and aliphatic, are known in the chemical structure included between each carbonate bond. The repeating unit may be one type or two or more types. The phase difference of the retardation film may be 1/4λ or 1/2λ (1/4 times or 1/2 times the wavelength λ).

Among them, in recent years, an organic EL panel requires a circular polarizing plate for preventing external light reflection. The circular polarizing plate has a structure in which two linear polarizing films and 1/4 λ phase difference films are superimposed, and the phase difference film surface is also attached to the organic EL panel. Because of the bonding, there was a drawback that the polycarbonate-based resin was the cause, and the durability and foam resistance were poor.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for an optical film of the present invention has extremely high utility value for bonding a polarizing film equipped with a retardation film of 1/4λ made of a polycarbonate-based resin and an optical film of an organic EL panel.

As a polarizing film, a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) layer containing an iodine molecule (I 2 ) is used as a polarizer, and triacetylcellulose (TAC), COP (cycloolefin polymer), acrylic resin, and polypropylene (PP) on both sides thereof. A structure in which a resin film using a material having excellent optical properties (such as transparency) is laminated as a protective layer (sometimes referred to as a protective film for polarizers) is generally used. Moreover, the resin film of a protective layer may also function as a retardation film.

An organic EL panel has an organic light emitting diode (OLED) structure, and a light emitting device in which a plurality of functional layers such as a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, an electron transport layer, and an electron injection layer is formed and stacked between electrodes of a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The structure to have is mentioned. Examples of the electrode include a transparent electrode layer having light transmittance and an opaque metal electrode layer. Flexible organic EL panels can also be manufactured, and electrodes, wirings, functional layers, etc. can be formed on flexible substrates such as resins by foil, plating, printing, vapor deposition, sputtering, or the like.
