Description

Non-polar LED lighting device}[0001] The present invention relates to a non-polar LED lighting device,

The present invention relates to a non-polarized LED lamp, and more particularly, to an LED lighting apparatus used as indoor / outdoor lighting means of various facilities, by connecting the LED lighting apparatuses in a plurality of parallel configurations by non- The threshold voltage of the non-polarized LED lighting device can be lowered and the power consumption can be reduced.

Generally, an LED is an abbreviation of a light emitting diode (LED), which means a semiconductor device that converts electric energy into light energy using the characteristics of a compound semiconductor.

Since LEDs have small chip size and a directional light source, it is possible to slim down parts and modules, and it has a high flexibility of design. These advantages are important for designing automobile, architecture, interior area as well as road lighting facilities. The industry is replacing the conventional spherical light source at a very high speed.

In addition, the major advantage of the LED is that it is a low power device due to high efficiency. Thus, the features such as the reduction of electric energy and extension of service life are distinguished from the conventional general lighting.

In other words, a general example in which an LED is used as a lighting device is briefly described. That is, a plurality of LED modules having a plurality of LEDs mounted thereon are arranged in a specific arrangement, It is understood that the module is used by being installed on the ceiling or wall surface of the room, inside and outside.

In this case, the LED module includes the AC / DC converter in consideration of the characteristic that the LED is driven by the DC current of an appropriate voltage. Thus, the AC / And a transformer coil for coercion.

However, due to the considerable volume of the structural feature of the trans coil, when applied to an LED module, it poses a problem of making the product relatively large in size.

Meanwhile, in recent years, a power supply device called SMPS (Switching Mode Power Supply) has been widely used as a solution to the above problem.

When the AC power is supplied to the converter with the SMPS incorporated therein, the supplied AC power is converted into a DC power having a predetermined voltage and is output through the DC power output terminal , The direct current power output terminal is connected to a connector provided on the input side of the lighting device to supply direct current power to illuminate and illuminate the LED.

At this time, the LED lighting device as described above has to combine LEDs according to the polarity of the supplied direct current (DC) in the series of operation, and thus, conventionally, the non-polar circuit 4) to be implemented.

However, in order to lower the power consumption, the non-polar circuit type LED illumination device needs to selectively produce a product having a low threshold voltage (V f ) of the LED. However, in reality, It is possible to exist.

Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings, a schematic configuration of the present invention will be described.

As shown in Fig. 1, this is constituted by a power supply unit 1, an SMPS 2, and an LED illumination device 100 including a light source unit 3. [

First, the power supply unit 1 is configured to receive an energy source necessary for the light emission operation of the LED illumination device from an external power supply for emitting operation of the LED illumination device, for example, It is preferable that it is formed in a general circuit configuration.

The Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) switches an AC current to a DC current and supplies a voltage corresponding to driving conditions of various electronic devices as well as an LED lighting lamp The basic configuration of the SMPS includes a DC-DC converter for converting the DC input voltage obtained from the AC input power source through the input rectifying smoothing circuit to a DC output voltage, a feedback circuit for stabilizing the output voltage, The feedback control circuit includes an error amplifier for amplifying an error of the output voltage, a comparator for generating a drive pulse by comparing the amplified error and the triangular wave, a DC-DC converter main body And a driving circuit for driving the switch. The DC-DC converter is composed of a main switch, a reflux diode, an LC filter which is a secondary low-pass filter, and the like.

At this time, the DC-DC converter is a main part responsible for the power conversion, and is classified into many types of converters according to the magnitude of the input / output change ratio and the circuit configuration.

Alternatively, the circuit method of the SMPS can be largely divided into a non-isolated type and an isolated type according to the presence or absence of a high-frequency transformer. Thus, the non-isolated type includes Buck type, Boost type, Buck-Boost type, C'uk type Bridge type, and a half-bridge type. In the present invention, the SMPS of the general function configuration used in the LED lighting device is applied as it is. .

The light source unit 3 includes an LED matrix module that receives a DC voltage converted and supplied through the SMPS and emits light according to the input DC voltage. In the case of applying the light source portion 3 of the matrix module configuration to the present invention, a power-saving non-polar circuit structure in which the applied direct current is distributed to reduce the total threshold voltage, for example, as shown in Figs. 2 and 3 , And a power-saving non-polar circuit of a characteristic structure in which a plurality of smoothing circuit portions 31 to which a direct current is applied are divided into a plurality of configurations and a plurality of the smoothing circuit portions 31 are connected in parallel .

따라서, 전술한 바와 같은, 일련의 구성으로 이루어진 본 발명에 따른 소비전력을 절감시킨 무극성 엘이디 조명장치의 작동기능을 살펴보면;Accordingly, the operation function of the non-polarized LED illumination device having the above-described series of constitutions and having reduced power consumption according to the present invention will be described;

First, when 220 V commercial AC power is applied through the power supply unit 1, the AC power applied is converted into DC power by the SMPS 2, and the DC voltage output from the SMPS is re- (LED) matrix module for light emission operation.

In this case, the light source unit 3, to which the DC voltage is applied from the SMPS, divides the applied direct current into a circuit configuration for lowering the threshold voltage of the entire LED matrix module, for example, a smoothing circuit unit 31 The power saving type non-polarity circuit structure in which the plurality of divided smoothing circuit portions 31 are connected in parallel is adopted as described above. Therefore, The power consumption of the LED lighting apparatus is reduced by distributing the current inputted by the non-polar circuit. The reduction of the power consumption in this manner is performed by a calculation method using the following equation (1) And the power consumption experiment graph shown in Fig.

1][Equation 1]

(Load side voltage + Smooth circuit voltage) × 1A (Output current) = Power consumption

여기서,here,

Load voltage (V) = LED (LED) Threshold voltage (Vf) × Serial LED (LED) Quantity

(Vf)Smooth circuit voltage (V) = Smooth circuit forward voltage (V) + Smooth circuit reverse voltage (Vf)

예컨대, 엘이디 10 직렬 1A 회로일 때 3항의 기준으로 가정하여 소비전력을 계산하여 보면;For example, assuming that the LED 10 is a series 1A circuit, the power consumption can be calculated by assuming the criteria of Clause 3;

First, in the case of a general LED (LED) illumination lamp

30VLED VF = 3V, 10 series = 3 × 10 Load side voltage: 30V

0.9VSmoothing circuit Forward voltage: 0.45V, Reverse voltage: 0.45V, Smoothing circuit voltage: 0.9V

소비전력 = (30V+0.9V)×1A = 30.9W 임을 알 수 있고;Power consumption = (30V + 0.9V) x 1A = 30.9W;

In the case of an LED lighting lamp according to the present invention

30VLED VF = 3V, 10 series = 3 × 10 Load side voltage: 30V

0.6VSmoothing circuit Forward voltage: 0.3 V, Reverse voltage: 0.3 V, Smoothing circuit voltage: 0.6 V

소비전력 = (30V+0.6V)×1A = 30.6W 임을 알 수 있는 것인바;Power consumption = (30V + 0.6V) x 1A = 30.6W;

Accordingly, it can be seen that the power consumption of the non-polarized LED (light-emitting diode) lighting apparatus according to the present invention is 0.3 W less than the power consumption of the general LED lighting apparatus.
