Claims (10)
- 엔진으로부터 배출된 배기가스가 좌우 양방향으로 분지되어 유동하며, 배기가스의 유동 경로상에 능동밸브가 설치된 중앙부; 및
상기 중앙부를 기준으로 좌우 양측에 분리 배치되며, 중앙부로부터 유입된 배기가스가 외부로 배출되는 한 쌍의 메인소음기; 를 포함하며,
상기 중앙부는,
좌우 양방향으로 연장된 한 쌍의 제1인서트파이프를 통해 한 쌍의 메인소음기와 각각 연결되는 분기부; 및
상기 분기부의 후단에 연결되며, 좌우 양방향으로 연장된 한 쌍의 제2인서트파이프를 통해 한 쌍의 메인소음기와 각각 연결되는 분기챔버; 를 포함하며,
상기 능동밸브는 분기부와 분기챔버의 사이에 설치되고, 상기 능동밸브의 개폐에 따라 배기가스의 유동 경로 및 배출 경로가 가변되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 분기부는 한 쌍의 제1인서트파이프가 좌우 양측으로 연장된 '十'자 형태로 형성되고,
상기 분기챔버는 그 전단이 분기부에 연결되고 한 쌍의 제2인서트파이프가 좌우 양측으로 연장된 역'Y'자 형태로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 메인소음기는,
메인소음기의 내부에 횡방향으로 결합되어 내부 공간을 분할하는 다수의 배플;
상기 배플을 관통하여 메인소음기 내부에 장착되며, 제1인서트파이프와 연결되는 제1튜브; 및
상기 배플을 관통하여 메인소음기 내부에 장착되며, 제2인서트파이프와 연결되는 제2튜브; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,
일단이 상기 제1튜브에 연결되며, 제1튜브로부터 전달된 배기가스가 외부로 토출되는 제1테일파이프; 및
일단이 상기 제2튜브에 연결되며, 제2튜브로부터 전달된 배기가스가 외부로 토출되는 제2테일파이프; 를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 능동밸브가 폐쇄되었을 때, 배기가스는 제1인서트파이프, 제1튜브 및 제1테일파이프를 통해 외부로 토출되고,
상기 능동밸브가 개방되었을 때, 배기가스는 제1인서트파이프, 제1튜브, 제1테일파이프, 제2인서트파이프, 제2튜브 및 제2테일파이프를 통해 외부로 토출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 능동밸브는 엔진RPM, 엔진 부하 및 차속 중 어느 하나 이상을 제어기에서 인지하여 개방 또는 폐쇄되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 능동밸브는 엔진RPM이 미리 정해진 제1RPM 내지 제2RPM이고 엔진 부하가 미리 정해진 설정 엔진 부하 미만인 경우 폐쇄되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 능동밸브는 엔진RPM이 미리 정해진 제1RPM 미만인 경우 또는 엔진RPM이 미리 정해진 제2RPM을 초과하는 경우 개방되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 능동밸브는 엔진 부하가 미리 정해진 설정 엔진 부하 이상인 경우 개방되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중앙 관통형 능동밸브 구조.
