Abstract

바람직한 실시예에 따른 추간판 보철물들(10, 10', 10'', 10''', 10'''')은 후방(편측, 양측), 신경공 경유(transforaminal)(편측, 양측), 추간공외(extraforaminal)(편측, 양측), 최측방(예를 들어, 대요근 횡단), 전방, 전방 사측 또는 전방-측방을 포함하는 그 어떤 각도로 외과적으로 삽입될 수 있지만, 이에 한정되지는 않는다.
삽입은 어떤 방법으로든 이루어질 수 있지만, 최소 침습 기술, 예를 들어, 약 10 mm 내지 15 mm의 최대 직경 또는 너비를 가진 캐뉼러(cannula)(미도시) 또는 절개를 통해 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다.
삽입 이후, 바람직한 실시예에 따른 추간판 보철물들(10, 10', 10'', 10''', 10'''')은 가변적인 자가 위치조정식 회전 중심을 갖는 것이 바람직하다.
광의의 신규한 개념으로부터 벗어나지 않는 한, 상기한 실시예들에 변형이 있을 수 있음은 당업자에게 자명하다. 따라서, 본 발명은 개시된 특정한 실시예들에 한정되지 않으며, 첨부한 청구항에 의해 정의되는 바와 같이, 본 발명의 정신과 범위 내에 이루어진 모든 개량을 망라하는 것으로 이해되어야 한다.

Claims (16)

  1. 제1 척추골과 제2 척추골 사이에 삽입을 위한 추간판 보철물에 있어서,
    상면과 하면을 구비하고, 보철물이 삽입 위치에 있을 때 상기 제1 척추골에 고정되는 단단한 고정 부재; 및
    내부에 제1 물질이 개재된 제1 영역을 구획하는 외부 막을 포함하고, 상기 외부 막은 상기 고정 부재의 상면에 결합되는 맞물림면 및 상기 맞물림면과 반대되고 보철물이 삽입 위치에 있을 때 상기 제2 척추골에 직접적으로 접촉될 수 있는 골접촉면을 포함하는 완충 부재를 구비하고;
    1) 상기 완충 부재의 맞물림면에 수직되는 방향을 따라 상기 맞물림면과 내부 막 사이, 및 2) 상기 방향을 따라 상기 골접촉면과 내부 막 사이에 상기 제1 물질의 일부분이 각각 개재될 수 있도록, 상기 완충 부재는 상기 제1 물질과 다른 제2 물질이 개재되는 제2 영역을 구획하는 내부 막을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 완충 부재는 상기 제2 척추골에 대하여 접합되도록 압착가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 고정 부재는, 뼈 스크류(bone screw), 용골(keel), 스파이크(spike), 정(nail) 및 뼈 앵커 중 어느 하나에 의해 제1 척추골에 고정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 고정 부재는, 이차 고정을 위한 뼈 내부 성장을 가능하게 하기 위해, 상기 상면으로부터 상기 하면까지 연장하는 하나 또는 그 이상의 개구를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 고정 부재는 플레이트(plate)에 결합된 그물(mesh) 구조물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  6. 삭제
  7. 제1항에 있어서,
    제1 물질은 액체인 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  8. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 액체는, 보철물의 삽입 전에, 상기 외부 막의 내부에 주입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  9. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 완충 부재는 기계적 접합, 화학적 접합, 열접합, 재봉(sewing), 클램핑, 기계적 맞물림(interdigitation) 및 이들의 조합 중 하나에 의해 상기 고정 부재에 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  10. 삭제
  11. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 보철물은 수술중 상기 완충 부재의 충진 또는 수축을 가능하게 하는 밸브(valve)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  12. 제1 척추골과 제2 척추골 사이에 삽입을 위한 추간판 보철물에 있어서,
    상면과 하면을 구비하고, 보철물이 삽입 위치에 있을 때, 제1 척추골에 고정되는 단단한 고정 부재; 및
    상기 고정 부재에 결합되고, 보철물이 상기 삽입 위치에 있을 때 제2 척추골에 직접적으로 접촉하며, 미리 결정된 제1 압력에서 제1 물질이 충진되는 제1 영역을 구획하는 외부 막을 포함하는 완충 부재를 구비하고;
    상기 외부 막은 보철물이 삽입 위치에 있을 때 상기 제2 척추체에 접촉되는 골접촉면 및 상기 고정 부재 접촉되고 상기 골접촉면에 반대되는 맞물림면을 구비하고,
    상기 완충 부재는 상기 맞물림면에 직교하는 방향에 평행하게 연장하는 평면을 따르는 단면을 구획하는 내부 막을 더 구비하고, 상기 단면은 상기 제1 압력과 다른 제2 압력에서 상기 제1 물질과 다른 제2 물질을 완전히 둘러싸고, 상기 내부 막의 전체 단면은 상기 방향을 따라 상기 내부 막 내부의 제2 영역과 상기 외부 막의 제1 영역 사이의 각각의 틈새를 구획하기 위해 상기 외부 막으로부터 내측으로 이격된 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  13. 제12항에 있어서,
    외부 막은 제1 물질로 채워진 풍선(balloon)인 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  14. 제13항에 있어서,
    제1 물질은 압착가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  15. 제13항에 있어서,
    상기 풍선은 기계적 접합, 화학적 접합, 열접합, 재봉, 클램핑, 기계적 맞물림 및 이들의 조합 중 하나에 의해 상기 고정 부재에 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
  16. 제13항에 있어서,
    제1 물질은, 보철물의 삽입 전에, 밸브를 통해 외부 막에 주입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 추간판 보철물.
