실험동물은 생후 6주령된 Wister계 Rat 수컷(Shizuoka Laboratory Animal Center, JP)을 구입하여 사용하였으며, 실험 시작 전 1주일 동안 순화시킨 후 건강한 동물만을 이용하여 실험을 시작하였다. 사육환경은 온도: 22±1℃, 습도:50±10%, 조명:12hr/day로 조절하였다.Experimental animals were purchased from a 6 - week - old male Wistar rats (Shizuoka Laboratory Animal Center, JP). 항스트레스 활성을 평가하기 위하여 코티졸(cortisol), 글루코오스(glucouse), 젖산(lactic acid) 및 크레아틴 포스포키나아제(creatine phosphokinase)의 혈중 농도를 측정하였다. Serum concentrations of cortisol, glucousa, lactic acid and creatine phosphokinase were measured to assess anti-stress activity.

항스트레스 활성에 대한 각 표지 인자의 혈중 농도에 대한 결과 값을 아래의 [표 7] 내지 [표 10]에 나타내었다.The results for the blood concentration of each marker against antistress activity are shown in [Table 7] to [Table 10] below.
상기 [표 7] 내지 [표 10]에서 확인되듯이, 스트레스 유발군의 경우 비스트레스 유발군에 비해 스트레스 관련 혈중 표지인자의 농도가 뚜렷하게 증가하였음을 알 수 있으며, <실시예 1>의 비자나무 미숙과 정유 추출물과 <실시예 2>의 비자나무 가지 정유 추출물이 투여될 경우 이들 혈중 표지인자의 농도가 감소하였음을 알 수 있으며, 특히 <실시예 1>의 비자나무 미숙과 정유 추출물이 <실시예 2>의 비자나무 가지 정유 추출물에 비하여 활성이 높게 나타났다.As shown in the above [Table 7] to [Table 10], the stress-induced group showed a marked increase in the concentration of stress-related blood marker than the non-stressed group, When the immature and essential oil extracts of Example 2 and the visa tree essential oil extract of Example 2 were administered, the concentration of these blood marker factors decreased. 분석 장비는 GC-MSD(모델 Agilent 7890A)을 사용하고 칼럼은 HP-5MS을 사용하였으며, 오븐 온도는 초기온도 40℃에서 분간 3℃씩 승온하여 최종온도 250℃로 하였다. 주입구 온도는 270℃로 하였으며, 유속 및 Split ratio는 1 ml/min 및 20 : 1로 하여 헬륨을 운반 기체로 사용하였다. 분석된 각 피크를 검색 라이브러리(W9N08.L, Wiley)와 비교하여 성분을 분석 정량하였으며, 라이브러리와의 일치도 95% 이상의 성분만 선택하여 구성성분으로 결정하였다.
