Claims (7)
- 폴리이미드(Polyimide, PI)계 고분자물질 또는 PI계 고분자물질의 공중합체(Copolymer)가 주쇄인 제 1배향층과;상기 주쇄에 결합되는 알킬(Alkyl)기 측쇄(side chain)로서의 제 2배향층과;상기 측쇄의 끝단에 연결되는 유전율 이방성을 갖는 메소젠(mesogen) 물질인 제 3배향층으로 구성되고,상기 제 3배향층의 메소젠은 상기 메소젠의 유전율 이방성의 sign과 벌크층에 구비된 액정의 유전율 이방성의 sign에 대해 모든 가능한 조합으로 설계되는 액정표시장치용 액정 배향막.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 액정 배향막 상부에는 상기 벌크(bulk)층으로서 액정층이 구비됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 액정 배향막.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 벌크층에 구비된 액정 및 상기 배향막 내에 구비된 제 3배향층이 인가되는 전계에 의해 제어되며, 상기 전계 제어되는 제 3배향층에 의해 상기 벌크층에 구비된 액정의 배향이 촉진됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 액정 배향막.
- 삭제
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 측쇄(side chain)로서의 알킬기는 상기 메소젠의 링 구조와 결합되는 것으로, 파라-(para-), 오르토-(ortho-) 또는 메타-(meta-) 위치에 선택적으로 결합함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 액정 배향막.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 액정 배향막은 액정표시장치의 상부기판 및 하부기판의 적어도 어느 하나의 기판에 선택적으로 형성될 수 있음을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 액정 배향막.
- 제 6항에 있어서,상기 액정 배향막이 각각 상하 기판에 모두 사용된 경우, 상하 기판 내측에 구비된 액정 배향막의 제 3층 구성요소인 메소젠의 유전율 이방성 sign은 (+, +), (-, -), (+, -), (-, +)의 조합 중 하나 임을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 액정 배향막.
