Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an auxiliary system for the safety of pedestrians walking pedestrian crossing, and more particularly, it automatically detects pedestrians and displays the waiting time until the pedestrian signal, and also displays pedestrians when walking pedestrian crossing at night or in bad weather. The present invention relates to an auxiliary system for the safety of pedestrian crossings that allow pedestrians to cross the pedestrian crossing safely without operating pedestrian buttons by turning on LED lights.
In general, the pedestrian crossing on the crosswalk is a device that informs the remaining time of the pedestrian traffic light and the pedestrian green light signal to the figure to enable the pedestrians to pass the pedestrian crossing in peace, and the pedestrian remaining time indicator installed next to the pedestrian traffic light. It is installed.
The pedestrian traffic light automatically lights red or green at regular intervals according to the control of the traffic light controller to display a pedestrian signal. In the case of a pedestrian outside the city or when a pedestrian presses the pedestrian button, the pedestrian traffic light displays a green pedestrian signal. It is supposed to change.
However, such a conventional crosswalk traffic light system is a non-responsive type that has no external response even when a button switch is operated. Therefore, a pedestrian is mistaken for a malfunction and often crosses without permission, even at night or in bad weather. It is difficult for a driver to recognize a pedestrian crossing or a pedestrian, so it is difficult to guarantee the safety of the pedestrian.
Therefore, as the aging society progresses and the demand for automobiles increases, the safety problem of pedestrians in crosswalks, apartments, schools, etc. is increasing. Especially in bad weather such as at night or in the fog, pedestrians in pedestrian crossings may not be easily recognized from the driver's perspective, and even when using a pedestrian operation signal device installed in a place where pedestrian traffic is low, it does not immediately turn into a pedestrian signal. After waiting for a certain time in the signal system, a pedestrian signal may be generated, which may cause a more dangerous situation for pedestrians and drivers.
