Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a pattern-integrated light guide plate and a casting apparatus for manufacturing the light guide plate. In detail, a gel-shaped MMA resin (Methyl Metha Acrylate: hereinafter referred to as "light guide plate raw material") is formed of a glass material in which a pattern is formed. The pattern and the light guide plate required to be injected and cured in the mold can be simultaneously manufactured and formed in one process.
In general, a liquid crystal display (LCD), which is a kind of a light receiving type flat panel display device, emits light by itself and does not form an image, so that light is incident from the outside to form an image. It includes a liquid crystal panel in which a liquid crystal is injected in between, and because the liquid crystal panel does not emit light by itself, a backlight unit is installed on the back of the thin film transistor to irradiate light, and the light emitted from the backlight unit depends on the arrangement of liquid crystals. The amount of transmission is adjusted.
In this case, the backlight unit may be divided into a side type in which the lamps are disposed only at the side and a direct type in which the plurality of lamps are arranged at regular intervals. There is a need for a light guide plate that uniformly supplies to the.
The light guide plate is a specially processed acrylic plate, and the light supplied from the lamp is reflected on the reflective pattern formed on the surface of the acrylic plate to be uniformly supplied to the liquid crystal panel. Recently, various patterns are formed on the upper and lower parts of the light guide plate. Therefore, many studies have been conducted to impart the functions of the diffusion sheet and the prism sheet to the light guide plate.
Therefore, conventional manufacturing methods for manufacturing the light guide plate include a printing method, an extrusion molding method and an injection molding method, and the injection molding method is widely used because of its high light efficiency and easy manufacture of a thick light guide plate.
However, the above injection molding method hardens the raw material into a plate shape, and then forms reflection or light diffusion patterns (hereinafter referred to as 'patterns') on the upper and lower surfaces by hand, and the outer surface of the light guide plate by a cutter. Because of the complicated process to be cut out, there is a problem of difficulty of production as well as low production efficiency, so the manufacturing manufacturer is unable to provide a solution to fundamental problems.
In addition, the light guide plate raw material contains a small amount of water, and when heated to a constant temperature, there was a problem of generating a large amount of bubbles when the extrusion was performed.
The present invention has been invented to solve the above conventional problems, in particular one or more patterns are formed integrally with the inner surface of the mold so that the light guide plate and the pattern of its surface can be simultaneously manufactured and formed in one process, Furthermore, the invention has been invented with the focus on the technical problem of removing bubbles generated from the light guide plate material as much as possible to produce a higher quality product.

To describe an embodiment of the present invention implemented through the solution of the above problem,
1 is a light guide plate raw material moisture removal step (a), a curing agent stirring step (b), a light guide plate manufacturing and pattern forming step (c), a light guide plate curing step (d), and the light guide plate is completed as shown in FIG. In more detail,
In the light guide plate raw material moisture removal step (a), the light guide plate raw material a1 in the liquid state is heated and stirred for 80 to 120 minutes.
The heating state is repeated to 80 ~ 120 minutes repeatedly the heating process of heating the light guide plate material (a1) to the initial 95 ℃, lowered to 50 ℃ and heated again from 50 ℃ to 95 ℃.
Here, the reason for repeatedly heating the light guide plate material (a1) to 95 ° C-> 50 ° C-> 95 ° C is to remove a small amount of moisture in the light guide plate material (a1).
If the moisture is not removed, a large amount of bubbles are generated in the light guide plate forming and curing process, resulting in a failure of the light guide plate.
In the curing agent stirring step (b), the curing agent is added to the light guide plate material (a1) from which the water is removed, and the mixture is stirred to obtain a gel state.

In the light guide plate curing step (d),
The
The cooling and hardening method may be any one of natural cooling and hardening of the
