Claims (3)
- 영상 신호로부터 영상의 특징을 나타내고 있는 특징량을 추출하는 특징량 추출 수단과,상기 특징량 추출 수단에 의해 금회(今回) 추출된 특징량과 상기 특징량 추출 수단에 의해 전회(前回) 추출된 특징량으로부터 특징량간의 거리를 산출하는 거리 산출 수단과,상기 거리 산출 수단에 의해 산출된 특징량간의 거리의 통계량을 구하고, 그 통계량으로부터, 일련의 영상을 샷 단위로 분할하기 위한 컷트점의 판정용 임계값을 산출하는 임계값 산출 수단과,상기 거리 산출 수단에 의해 산출된 특징량간의 거리와 상기 임계값 산출 수단에 의해 산출된 임계값을 비교하고, 그 비교 결과로부터 컷트점의 유무를 판별하는 컷트점 판별 수단을 구비하고,상기 임계값 산출 수단은, 상기 컷트점 판별 수단에 의해 컷트점이 검출됐을 때 임계값을 초기화하고, 그 검출된 컷트점을 기점으로 하는 새로운 샷의 영상에 대하여 구한 통계량을 이용하여, 상기 초기화한 임계값을 갱신하는것을 특징으로 하는 영상 식별 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 컷트점이 검출됐을 때 그 컷트점과 하나 전의 컷트점 사이의 샷의 길이를 산출하고, 상기 산출된 샷 길이가 미리 설정한 임계값보다 긴 경우, 상기 검출된 컷트점이 관여하는 샷을 중요샷으로 판정하는 중요샷 판별 수단을 마련한 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 식별 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 검출된 컷트점이 관여하는 샷은, 상기 컷트점의 하나 전의 컷트점을 기점으로 하는 샷, 또는 상기 하나 전의 컷트점을 기점으로 하는 샷의 다음 샷, 혹은 그 양쪽 샷 모두인 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 식별 장치.
