본 발명은 한우 개체인식 및/또는 혈통확인을 위한 SNP(single nucleotide polymorphism) 유전자 세트를 제공한다. 본 발명에서는 한우와 수입육을 판별할 수 있는 SNP 바이오마커 개발을 위해 NCBI 소(Bovine) SNP DB와 AFNS 소(Bovine) SNP DB에서 3,072개의 SNP를 선발하여 한우 570 두에서 지노타이핑(genotyping)을 실시하였다. 실험결과 3,072개 SNP 가운데 2,402개가 성공적으로 지노타이핑이 되었으며 MAF(minor allele frequency)가 0.3 이상인 SNP 총 384개를 선발하여 이를 한우 개체인식 및 혈통확인 유전자 세트로 이용하였다. 총 384개 유전자 세트의 실증성 검증을 위해 한우 570두에서 한우 개체인식 능력을 검사하였다. 분석결과 정확도 100%로 개체인식이 가능하였다. 또한 동일 유전자 세트를 이용하여 한우 종모우 57 두와 후대소 139 두의 혈통 추적 검사에서 100%의 정확도로 혈통확인이 가능하였다. 따라서, 본 발명의 대규모 SNP 지노타이핑으로 발굴된 384개의 SNP 유전자 세트는 한우 개체인식, 혈통확인, 원산지 판별에 적합하며, 이는 한우생산이력체계의 유전자 검사방법으로 적용가능하다.
