Claims (10)
- 풀 컬러 디스플레이(full color display)에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스(photocell device)에 있어서,액정 디스플레이;3가지 컬러들 중 선택된 컬러를 갖는 단색 광 빔을 방출할 수 있는 상기 액정 디스플레이 후방의 투명 패널 광원; 및상기 투명 패널 광원으로부터 발산하는 광 에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환하는 상기 투명 패널 광원 후방의 광기전력 전지를 포함하는, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투명 패널 광원은,상기 3가지 컬러들 중 선택된 컬러를 갖는 상기 단색 광 빔을 방출할 수 있는 3색(tri-color) 광 방출기; 및상기 액정 디스플레이 어레이를 통해 순차적인 3색 광 방출기로부터 광을 안내하는 광 파이프를 포함하는, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투명 패널 광원은 상기 3가지 컬러들 중 선택된 컬러를 갖는 상기 단색 광 빔을 방출할 수 있는 3색 유기 발광 다이오드 어레이인, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정 디스플레이에 결합된 정보와 상기 투명 패널 광원에 의해 방출된 3가지 컬러들의 일련의 단색 광 빔들(a sequence of monochromatic light beams)을 동기화하는 제어기를 더 포함하는, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정 디스플레이는 단색 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 디스플레이(monochromatic twisted nematic LCD), 단색 슈퍼 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 디스플레이(monochromatic super twisted nematic LCD), 폴리머 분산 액정 디스플레이(polymer dispersed liquid crystal display;PDLCD) 및 콜레스테릭 액정 디스플레이(cholesteric LCD) 중 하나인, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투명 패널 광원으로부터 발산하는 광은 상기 액정 디스플레이를 통과하는 주변 광과 상기 투명 패널 광원에 의해 방출되는 광 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광전지는 어둡고 실질적으로 비반사성인 표면을 포함하는, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정 디스플레이는 초당 적어도 75 프레임들로 레이팅(rated)되는, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스.
- 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지를 구비한 전자 장치에 있어서,고속 응답 액정 디스플레이 패널;상기 고속 응답 액정 디스플레이 패널 후방의 투명 패널 광원;단색 고속 응답 액정 디스플레이 패널 후방의 광전지; 및상기 단색 고속 응답 액정 디스플레이 패널에 결합된 컬러 정보와 동기하여 상기 투명 패널 광원에 의해 방출되는 3가지 컬러들의 일련의 단색 광 빔들을 초당 적어도 75 단색 프레임들의 레이트로 발생시킴으로써 상기 풀 컬러 디스플레이상에 컬러 정보를 나타내는 제어기를 포함하고, 상기 광전지는 상기 투명 패널 광원으로부터 발산하는 광 에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환하는, 전자 장치.
- 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스를 동작시키는 방법에 있어서,반복되는 일련의 3가지 단색 광 빔들을 초당 적어도 75의 레이트(rate)로 방출하도록 초당 적어도 75 프레임들로 레이팅된 고속 응답 액정 디스플레이 후방에 배치된 투명 패널 광원을 제어하는 단계;상기 고속 응답 액정 디스플레이에 결합된 단색 정보의 프레임들을 상기 일련의 3가지 단색 광 빔들에 동기화시키는 단계; 및상기 투명 패널 광원으로부터 발산하는 광 에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환하는 단계를 포함하는, 풀 컬러 디스플레이에 포함되는 광전지 디바이스 동작 방법.
