Claims (5)
- 그래픽처리부로부터 화상데이터와 제어신호를 인터페이스부를 통해 인가받는 타이밍 제어기;상기 타이밍 제어기로부터 제어신호를 인가받고, 직류/직류 변환기로부터 게이트 온/오프 전원을 인가받아 액정패널의 게이트 패드부에 주사신호를 공급하는 게이트드라이버 집적회로;상기 타이밍 제어기로부터 화상데이터와 제어신호를 인가받아 하프톤그레이를 구현하는 하프톤그레이모드 변환부; 및상기 하프톤그레이모드 변환부로부터 새로운 화상데이터를 입력받아 액정패널의 데이터 패드부에 화상데이터를 공급하는 데이터드라이버 집적회로;를 포함하여 구성되며,상기 하프톤그레이모드 변환부는,상기 타이밍제어부로부터 공급된 화상신호를 적어도 두 개 이상의 화소단위로 저장하는 데이터저장부; 및상기 데이터 저장부에 저장된 데이터의 그레이레벨을 룩업테이블(Look Up Table)에 의해서 화이트레벨, 블랙레벨 및 다른 그레이레벨로 변환하는 데이터변환부;를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 타이밍제어부와 하프톤그레이모드 변환부 사이에 구비되어 상기 타이밍제어기로부터 제어신호를 인가받아 하프톤그레이모드와 정상모드를 선택적으로 스위칭하는 스위칭부를 추가로 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 데이터저장부와 데이터변환부 사이에 데이터의 화소별 휘도순서를 비교하는 데이터비교부를 추가로 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 외부로부터 화상데이터와 제어신호를 인가받는 타이밍제어부와;상기 타이밍제어부로부터 제어신호를 인가받아 하프톤그레이모드와 정상모드를 선택적으로 스위칭하는 스위칭부와;하프톤그레이 모드시, 상기 타이밍제어부로부터 공급된 화상데이터를 적어도 두개이상의 화소단위로 저장하는 데이터저장부와;상기 데이터저장부에 저장된 데이터의 화소별 휘도순서를 비교하여 휘도순서를 결정하는 데이터비교부와;상기 데이터비교부로부터 화소별 휘도순서에 대한 정보 및 데이터를 공급받아 이들의 그레이레벨을 룩업테이블(Look Up Table)에 의해서 화이트레벨, 블랙레벨 및 다른 그레이레벨로 변환하되, 화소별 휘도순서가 이전 데이터와 동일하도록 하는 데이터변환부와;상기 데이터 변환부로부터 새로운 데이터를 입력받아 액정패널의 데이터 패드부에 화상정보를 공급하는 데이터드라이버 집적회로를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
