The present invention relates to an energy generation system for obtaining electrical energy using a fuel cell, and in particular, it is possible to easily inform the replacement time of fuel in a fuel cell system (BFC; Boron Fuel Cell) using B compound (BH 4 ) as a fuel. The present invention relates to a fuel cell replacement time notification device and a notification method thereof.
Most of the energy humans are using comes from fossil fuels. However, the use of such fossil fuel has a serious adverse effect on the environment, such as air pollution, acid rain, global warming, and has a problem such as low energy efficiency.
The fuel cell is proposed as an alternative to such fossil fuels. Unlike conventional cells (secondary cells), the fuel cell is supplied with fuel (hydrogen gas or hydrocarbon) to the anode and oxygen to the cathode from the outside to electrolyze water. It is a battery system that generates electricity and heat by undergoing an electrochemical reaction by a reverse reaction, and can be regarded as a power generating device.
The power generation method using a fuel cell is a method of directly converting an energy difference before and after the reaction into electrical energy through an electrochemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen without undergoing combustion (oxidation) reaction of the fuel.
If the fuel cell is classified according to the type of electrolyte, the phosphoric acid fuel cell operating at around 200 ° C, the alkaline electrolyte fuel cell operating at 60 to 110 ° C, the polymer electrolyte fuel cell operating at room temperature to 80 ° C, about 500 Molten carbonate electrolyte fuel cells operating at a high temperature of ~ 700 ℃, and solid oxide fuel cells operating at a high temperature of 1000 ℃ or more.
Such a fuel cell has a
In the drawings,

Accordingly, electromotive force is generated between the
However, in the conventional fuel cell as described above, the
An object of the present invention has been made in view of the problems of the conventional fuel cell as described above, the fuel cell replacement time notification device and the notification method that can detect the concentration of the fuel during the reaction to inform the replacement time of the fuel container. In this way, it is possible to prevent the deterioration of the efficiency of the system due to the reduced concentration or excessive concentration of the fuel by informing the replacement time of the fuel, and to maintain the reliability of the various electrical products in use.
