Description
Claims (34)
- 결합 다이아몬드 결정들의 보디의 경도보다 낮은 경도를 갖는 물질의 기재에 결합된 상기 보디; 및 상기 보디 상의 작업면;을 포함하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소(polycrystalline diamond element)에 있어서,상기 작업면으로부터 멀리 위치한 상기 보디의 제1용적은 촉매 물질을 함유하고, 상기 작업면에 가까이 위치한 상기 보디의 제2용적은 촉매 물질이 제거되며, 상기 보디의 상기 제2용적 내에 잔존하는 촉매 물질은 상기 제1용적으로부터의 거리에 따라 연속적으로 감소하고 상기 다이아몬드 결정들의 표면에 부착하며, 상기 제2용적은 상기 작업면으로부터 적어도 0.1㎜의 깊이까지 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2용적은 작업면으로부터 0.2㎜ 내지 0.3㎜의 깊이까지 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보디의 상기 제2용적은 전체 보디의 결합 다이아몬드 결정들의 평균 용적 밀도보다 높은 결합 다이아몬드 결정들의 평균 용적 밀도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보디는 틈새 모체(interstitial matrix)를 포함하며, 여기서 상기 제1용적 내에 위치한 틈새 모체 부분은 촉매 물질을 함유하고, 상기 제2용적 내에 위치한 틈새 모체 부분은 촉매 물질이 제거된 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1용적으로부터 멀리 위치한 상기 제2용적 내 다이아몬드 결정들은 상기 제1용적에 가까이 위치한 상기 제2용적 내 다이아몬드 결정들보다 상기 다이아몬드 결정들의 표면에 부착하는 촉매 물질을 적게 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보디의 경도보다 낮은 경도를 갖는 물질은 초경 텅스텐 탄화물인 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소는 대면부(facing table)와 절삭면을 갖는 예비성형 절삭요소를 포함하고, 여기서 상기 작업면은 상기 절삭면 부분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 절삭요소는 고정 커터형 회전 드릴비트의 절삭면 상에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 절삭요소는 롤링 커터형 드릴비트의 보디 상에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소는 기계가공 작업시 절삭 삽입물로서 사용하기 위한 절삭면을 갖는 절삭요소를 포함하고, 여기서 상기 작업면은 상기 절삭면 부분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소는 인발 금형을 포함하고, 여기서 상기 작업면은 상기 인발 금형의 접촉면 부분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 히트 싱크를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 밸브면, 인덴터, 툴 맨드릴 및 측정장치용 마모요소를 포함하는 그룹에서 선택된 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다결정 다이아몬드로 형성된 요소.
