Abstract

An ESC control system using an ABS actuator for a vehicle is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost through allowing the ABS actuator to control the ESC(Electronic Stability Control) control system. An ESC control system using an ABS actuator(20) for a vehicle comprises an electronic control booster(10) coupled to the ABS actuator and an ECU(30, Electronic Control Unit). The ECU receives various signals, such as signals transmitted from a wheel speed sensor, a transversal G sensor, a yaw-rate sensor, and a steering angle sensor. The ESC control system outputs a booster control signal and an actuator control signal through the ECU. The ESC control system sends the control signal to the electronic control booster so as to generate brake pressure while a driver not stepping on the brake pedal.

The present invention relates to an ESC control system using an ABS actuator, and more particularly, to an electronic control booster connected to an ABS actuator, and to controlling the electronic booster and the ABS actuator through an electronic control unit.

ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) related to the present invention refers to a special brake system developed to prevent the wheel from locking when the vehicle suddenly brakes.

In general, four wheels do not carry the same weight when the car is running, and sudden braking in this state causes some wheels to lock-up, or lock the wheels.

This means that the vehicle is still in progress, but the wheels are completely stopped, and the vehicle can slide or push to the side, preventing the driver from properly controlling the direction of the car.

To prevent this problem, the brakes should be pumped to prevent the wheels from locking and the pumping operation is repeated 10 times or more per second using an electronic control device or a mechanical device. to be.

ABS는 보통 브레이크와 같은 시스템의 부스터와 마스터실린더에 전자제어장치인 ECU(electronic control unit), 유압조정장치인 HCU(hydraulic control unit), 바퀴의 속도를 감지하는 휠센서(wheel sensors), 브레이크를 밟은 상태를 감지하는 PTS(pedal travel switch)로 이루어진다.ABS is usually used in boosters and master cylinders of systems such as brakes, electronic control units (ECU), hydraulic control units (HCU), wheel sensors that sense the speed of wheels, and brakes. It consists of a PTS (pedal travel switch) that detects the stepped state.

On the other hand, the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) control system to which the present invention relates is a system that stabilizes the behavior of the vehicle by generating a braking force using hydraulic pressure when the vehicle tries to exceed the limit performance when turning.

1 is a block diagram of an ABS actuator to which the present invention relates, and FIG. 2 is a block diagram of a conventional ESC actuator.

In the related art, the ESC actuator is configured separately from the ABS actuator, thereby controlling the braking hydraulic pressure using a separate solenoid valve and a motor.

도 3에는 도 2의 종래 ESC 액츄에이터에 있어서 차륜 하나에 유압이 작용할 때의 상황을 좀 더 구체적으로 살펴보기 위한 증압 모드 상태도이다.(4개 차륜의 브레이크 제어 유압라인중에서 1차륜에 대한 증압 모드)FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a pressure increase mode to more specifically look at a situation when hydraulic pressure is applied to one wheel in the conventional ESC actuator of FIG. 2 (pressure increase mode for one wheel in a brake control hydraulic line of four wheels).

As shown in FIG. 3, in the case of the conventional ESC actuator, to increase the pressure by the control logic, the first valve 41 '(USV) is closed, the second valve 42' (HSV) is open, and the third valve ( 43 '(EV) must be open, and the fourth valve 44' (AV) must be closed, and the motor must be driven.

Above, the first valve 41 '(USV) serves to prevent the brake fluid from reaching the master cylinder because the pressure leaks to the master cylinder when the driver brakes the wheel even when the driver does not apply the brake. It controls the braking pressure.

At this time, the second valve 42 '(HSV) opens the master cylinder so that the brake fluid can be used for boosting pressure, and the second valve 42' (HSV) is closed during non-control and then open during control. )do.

As such, in the related art, since the ABS control system and the ESC control system use separate actuators, component costs increase, thereby causing a cost increase of the vehicle.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and the object thereof is to control the ESC control system by using an ABS actuator, thereby enabling cost reduction in an ESC using a vehicle ABS actuator. It is to provide a control system.

The present invention connects the electronic control booster to the ABS actuator in order to achieve the above object, and the electronic control unit (ECU) through which the various sensor signals of the wheel speed sensor, the horizontal G sensor, the yaw rate sensor, and the steering angle sensor are input. It characterized in that to control the booster and the ABS actuator, and will be described in more detail based on the accompanying drawings, the specific technical details as follows.

4 is a block diagram of an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a block diagram of the pressure increase mode of the embodiment. The ESC control system using the ABS actuator of the present invention is an electronic control booster 10. To the ABS actuator 20 and outputs a booster control signal and an actuator control signal through an electronic control unit 30 (ECU) through which various sensor signals of a wheel speed sensor, a lateral G sensor, a yaw rate sensor, and a steering angle sensor are input. It is done.

In the present invention, the electronic control booster 10 is used to use the ABS actuator 20 without the conventional first valve 41 '(USV) and the second valve 42' (HSV) as an ESC actuator. Since the control booster 10 is used, the braking pressure can be generated by giving a control signal to the electronic control booster 10 even when the driver does not press the brake.

In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, the electronic control booster 10 generates hydraulic pressure through a control signal, opens the third valve 43 (EV), and closes the fourth valve 44 (AV). Close) enables increase of brake pressure.

In the present invention, unlike the conventional ABS control system and the ESC control system using separate actuators, since the ABS actuator 20 is used in the ESC control system, cost reduction by parts sharing can be achieved.

Although the electronic control booster 10 used in the present invention is more expensive than the conventional general booster, the total cost of the ESC control system is reduced by controlling the ESC control system using the ABS actuator 20 which is cheaper than the conventional ESC actuator. You can do it.

As described above, the present invention provides an electronic booster and an electronic booster through an electronic control unit (ECU) through which an electronic control booster is connected to an ABS actuator and various sensor signals of a wheel speed sensor, a lateral G sensor, a yaw rate sensor, and a steering angle sensor are input. The ABS actuator is controlled. According to the present invention, although the electronic control booster 10 which is more expensive than the general booster is used, the ABS actuator is different from the conventional one in which the ABS control system and the ESC control system use separate actuators. 20) can be used for the ESC control system, so that the cost can be reduced by the common use of parts, and the overall cost of the ESC control system can be reduced.
