- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 상기 폴리펩타이드는 아미노산 서열이 FCIQIHF (SEQ ID NO:26), EFCIQIHF (SEQ ID NO:27), SEFCIQI (SEQ ID NO:22), SEFCI (SEQ ID NO:24), SEFCIHLHFR (SEQ ID NO:6), CIQI (SEQ ID NO:28) 및 SEFCIQIHF (SEQ ID NO:20)인 폴리펩타이드로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 폴리펩타이드인 방법.
- (a) β-세크레타제 결합 자리를 함유하는 APP, 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 1(SEQ ID NO:1)인 폴리펩타이드 또는 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 2(SEQ ID NO:2)인 폴리펩타이드, 그리고 β-세크레타제를 포함하는 시료와 화합물을 접촉시키는 단계;(b) 상기 APP, 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 1(SEQ ID NO:1)인 폴리펩타이드 또는 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 2(SEQ ID NO:2)인 폴리펩타이드와 β-세크레타제가 서로 정상적으로 특이적으로 결합하는 조건하에서, β-세크레타제와 상기 APP, 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 1(SEQ ID NO:1)인 폴리펩타이드 또는 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 2(SEQ ID NO:2)인 폴리펩타이드의 결합 수준을 결정하는 단계;(c) 상기 화합물의 존재하에서, 상기 APP, 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 1(SEQ ID NO:1)인 폴리펩타이드 또는 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 2(SEQ ID NO:2)인 폴리펩타이드와 β-세크레타제의 결합 수준을 결정하는 단계; 및(d) (b) 및 (c)단계에서 기재한, 상기 APP, 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 1(SEQ ID NO:1)인 폴리펩타이드 또는 아미노산 서열이 서열번호 2(SEQ ID NO:2)인 폴리펩타이드와 β-세크레타제의 결합 수준을 비교하는 단계로서, (b) 단계의 결합수준보다 (c)단계의 결합수준이 더 낮은 경우, 상기 화합물은 상기 APP와 β-세크레타제 결합 저해제인 것인, 아밀로이드 전구체 단백질과 β-세크레타제의 결합을 저해하는 화합물의 스크리닝 방법.
