Abstract

A conducting unit for removing static electricity is provided to prevent a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) from being damaged by flowing the static electricity generated between the PDP and a roller through a conducting unit connected to a rotation shaft. A conducting unit for removing static electricity includes a conductive socket(12), a ground shaft(14), and a bearing unit(16). The conductive socket is connected to a rotation shaft(3). The ground shaft is located on a rotation central line of the conductive socket. The bearing unit is located between the ground shaft and the conductive socket. The bearing unit enables the conductive socket to be rotated freely while the ground shaft is fixed. A plurality of conducting balls(18) for transmitting the static electricity to the ground shaft are installed inside the conductive socket. The conducting unit removes the static electricity from the rotation shaft connected to a driving roller which drives a PDP.
