Abstract

A heavy duty pneumatic vehicle tire is provided to prevent partial abrasion by maximizing buffering effect of a lug and to minimize deformation of a sidewall by reducing movement of a tread edge section while driving a vehicle. A heavy duty pneumatic vehicle tire comprises a tread, a sidewall, a bead section and a shoulder section(11) formed between the tread and the sidewall. Lug grooves(12) are continuously formed at the shoulder section(11) in the inner circumferential direction of the tire. Cylindrical grooves(13) having a cylinder shape are formed in the inner sides of the lug grooves(12), respectively. The distance(d) between two ends of the cylindrical groove(13) is larger than the width(w) of the lug groove(12). The interval(D) between the cylindrical grooves(13) corresponds to 40% to 50% of the interval(L) between the lug grooves(12).
