- 흡수기, 발생기, 응축기 및 증발기를 포함하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치에 있어서,상기 발생기(10)는,제1유입부(22) 및 제2유입부(24), 상기 제1 및 제2유입부 사이에 위치하는 단열제거기부(16), 보일러부(12) 또는 리보일러(35), 상기 보일러부 또는 리보일러와 상기 단열제거기부 사이에 위치하는 용액가열제거기(SHD)부(14), 및 정류기부를 포함하는 제1 발생기 구조나,제1유입부(22), 상기 제1유입부(22)의 하부에 위치하는 GAX제거기부(36), 보일러부(12) 또는 리보일러(35), 상기 보일러부 또는 리보일러와 상기 GAX제거기부 사이에 위치하는 용액가열제거기부(34), 및 정류기부를 포함하는 제2 발생기 구조를 포함하되,상기 발생기는, 상기 보일러부, 상기 용액가열제거기부, 상기 정류기부 중 하나 이상의 내부공간이, 암모니아수용액에 대해 비활성이면서 200℉ 내지 400℉ 의 온도에서 전체부피에 대해 균일한 밀도를 갖는 구조 충전물로 충전되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수 장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단열제거기부(16)와 상기 GAX제거기부 중 하나 이상은 내부공간이 상기 구조 충전물(11)로 충전되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 21 항에 있어서,상기 보일러부(12)는 관형 쉘을 포함하되, 상기 관형 쉘의 내부에는 동심 배기관이 구비되어 있고, 상기 쉘의 내벽면과 상기 배기관 사이의 고리형 공간에는 구조 충전물이 충전되어 있는 것을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 SHD부, GAX제거기부, 정류기부 중 하나 이상은 수직방향 쉘을 포함하되, 상기 수직방향 쉘은, 낮은농도의 흡수용액을 공급하며 상기 쉘의 내부 또는 외부에 연장되어 상기 쉘과 열교환 작용을 수행하는 도관을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 SHD부와, GAX제거기부와, 정류기부 중 하나 이상은 상호 보호되는 열교환 핀을 갖는 제1 및 제2 동심쉘을 포함하는 열교환 유체 유동통로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구조 충전물은 스테인리스 스틸 또는 탄소강(carbon steel)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 25 항에 있어서,상기 구조 충전물은 금속망 층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1, 25, 26 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 구조 충전물은 직경이 0.002in.~0.008in.인 금속섬유를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 각 부중 적어도 어느 하나의 내부공간에 충전되는 상기 구조 충전물은, 비금속(non-metallic) 성분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 28 항에 있어서,상기 각 부중 적어도 어느 하나의 내부공간에 충전되는 상기 구조 충전물은, 폴리프로필렌을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 21 항에 있어서,상기 발생기의 각 부중 하나 이상의 내부공간에 충전되는 상기 구조 충전물은 25lbs./cu.ft 내외 40lbs./cu.ft 사이의 밀도값을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 21 항에 있어서,상기 구조 충전물을 함유하는 발생기부 내부의 크로스-섹션 영역은 발생기의 암모니아 냉매 설계용량이 0.2sq.in./lb./hr 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 31 항에 있어서,상기 각 부중 하나 이상의 내부 크로스-섹션 영역은 발생기의 암모니아 냉매 설계용량이 0.15sq.in./lb./hr 이하 인 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 31 항에 있어서,상기 각 부중 하나 이상의 내부 크로스-섹션 영역은 발생기의 암모니아 냉매 설계용량이 0.05sq.in./lb./hr 이하 인 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 21 항에 있어서,상기 발생기의 상기 각 부 중 하나 이상에 상기 구조 충전물로 액체를 균일하게 분사하는 적어도 하나 이상의 분사장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.

- 제 37 항에 있어서,상기 기계적 거품제어는 상기 SHD부의 최하단부와 상기 보일러 내지는 리보일러부의 최상단부 사이에 수직 이격을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물-암모니아 흡수장치.
