Abstract

An over slam bumper unit for a tail gate is provided to adjust the height of the over slam bumper by screw-coupling the over slam bumper using an additional plug which is inserted into a tail gate inner panel. An over slam bumper unit comprises a plug(1) and an over slam bumper(3). The plug(1) has a socket hole(11) formed in a center thereof. A support terminal (13) is formed along an outer circumferential surface of one end of the plug(1). A stopper terminal(15) is formed along a rear outer circumferential surface of the support member(13). A coupling terminal (19) having a screw tread along an outer circumferential surface thereof is formed at a center of the socket hole(11). The plug(1) is inserted into an installation hole(23) formed on a tail gate inner panel(21). The over slam bumper(3) is screw coupled with the plug(1).
