국제특허출원공개 WO 00/02195는 어떤 객체가 편집 또는 편집되지 않거나, 또는 삭제가 하용되도록 트랙을 유지하도록 기록 플래그를 사용하는 DVD-RAM 디스크 상에 비디오 정보를 편집하는 방법이 개시되어 있다.
또한, 유럽특허 제1003337호는 다른 타입의 오디오-비디오 스트림과 함께 스트림의 중간부에서 MPEG-2 스트림 결핍 랜덤 액세스가능성을 기록가능하게 하는 DVD-RAM 디스크 상에 비디오 정보를 기억하는 포맷을 개시하고 있다.

Claims (10)
- MPEG2 프로그램 스트림의 일부분을 함께 구성하는 셀의 시퀀스를 포함하는 복수의 비디오 객체를 나타내는 인코딩된 비트 스트림을 광 디스크와 같은 디스크 형태의 기록매체 상에 기록하는 기록방법으로서,- 상기 디스크의 객체 저장영역에 연속적으로 배치된 복수의 비디오 객체의 집합을 기록하는 단계와,- 상기 디스크의 관리 정보 영역에 기록된 비디오 객체에 대한 정보를 저장하기 위해 관리 정보를 기록하는 단계를 포함하고,- 상기 집합이 재생가능한 복수의 타이틀을 나타내는 인접한 기록부로 분할되는 기록방법에 있어서,- 상기 디스크 상의 상기 비디오 객체 저장영역 내부의 할당 순서로 재생가능한 타이틀을 기록부의 모든 완전한 셀 또는 완전한 셀의 서브 집합의 재생 시퀀스로서 정의하는 단계와,- 상기 디스크 상의 비디오 객체 저장영역 내부의 배열 순서로 분류된 타이틀의 타이틀 목록을 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 비디오 객체 저장 영역 내부의 빈 공간을 나타내는 빈 공간 타이틀을 정의하고, 상기 타이틀 목록에 상기 빈 공간 타이틀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,재생을 위해 빈 공간 타이틀을 차단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 제 3항에 있어서,삭제된 타이틀을 빈 공간 타이틀로 변환시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 타이틀에 대한 사용자 액세스를 허용하기 위해, 타이틀 테이블에서와 동일한 순서로 상기 타이틀을 나열하는 타이틀 메뉴를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- MPEG2 프로그램 스트림의 일부분을 함께 구성하는 셀의 시퀀스를 포함하는 복수의 비디오 객체를 나타내는 인코딩된 비트 스트림을 광 디스크와 같은 디스크 형태의 기록매체 상에 기록하는 기록장치로서,상기 디스크의 객체 저장영역에 연속적으로 배치된 복수의 비디오 객체의 집합을 기록하고, 상기 디스크의 관리 정보 영역에 기록된 비디오 객체에 대한 정보를 저장하기 위해 관리 정보를 기록하는 기록수단을 구비하고, 상기 집합이 재생가능한 타이틀을 나타내는 인접한 기록부로 분할되는 기록장치에 있어서,상기 디스크 상의 상기 비디오 객체 저장영역 내부의 할당 순서로 재생가능한 타이틀을 기록부의 모든 완전한 셀 또는 완전한 셀의 서브 집합의 재생 시퀀스로서 정의하고, 상기 디스크 상의 비디오 객체 저장영역 내부의 배열 순서로 분류된 타이틀의 타이틀 목록을 생성하도록 구성된 시스템 제어수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 기록장치.
- 제 6항에 있어서,상기 시스템 제어수단은, 상기 비디오 객체 저장영역 내부의 빈 공간을 나타내는 빈 공간 타이틀을 정의하고, 상기 타이틀 목록에 빈 공간 타이틀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록장치.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 시스템 제어수단은 재생을 위해 빈 공간 타이틀을 차단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록장치.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 시스템 제어수단은 삭제된 타이틀을 빈 공간 타이틀로 변환하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록장치.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 시스템 제어수단은, 상기 타이틀에 대한 사용자 액세스를 허용하기 위해 타이틀 테이블에서와 동일한 순서로 타이틀의 목록을 나열하는 타이틀 메뉴를 생성하고, 기록수단은 타이틀 메뉴를 디스플레이하는 출력수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 기록장치.
